Our overall stay was also marred by unclear checkout expectations. What should have been a relaxing family weekend with our toddler turned into a source of unnecessary stress. We were surprised by cleaning expectations that we hadn’t been made aware of, even though we had paid a separate cleaning fee. When we brought this up, additional concerns regarding alleged damage were raised, which we did not agree with. As of this writing, we are still waiting for our security deposit to be returned.

The cottage is very cozy, made of wood, and surrounded by lovely greenery. Unfortunately, there are no mosquito screens on the windows or doors, and even though we kept everything closed, we couldn’t sleep properly because we were bitten all night long—including our 2-year-old. Given that the West Nile virus is circulating in the Netherlands, this was particularly concerning. Although the cottage is in the forest, trucks could still be heard in the evening and at night—even with the windows and doors closed—which detracted from the peaceful atmosphere. The bathroom is also very old and unpleasant to use. A plus is the surrounding area, which offers nice restaurants, museums, and farms selling local dairy products to visit.

A lovely, rustic nature house surrounded by nature, with a very spacious garden featuring several spots to sit and relax. For people who love the outdoors, this is an inspiring place where you can unwind and enjoy nature with your family. Highly recommended.

Heerlijk rustiek natuurhuisje met een zeer ruime tuin met meerdere zit- en hangplekjes. Voor mensen die graag buiten leven is dit een inspirerende plek waarbij je tot rust kan komen en kan genieten van het natuur met je gezin. Echt een aanrader.

The total cost, including cleaning fees, could be described a little more clearly on the website. Other than that, we're completely happy!

De totale kosten inclusief schoonmaak kosten mogen iets meer duidelijk worden beschreven op de site. Verder zijn we helemaal blij!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. You can tell from everything that Inge has put a lot of love and care into the cottage. It immediately felt warm and welcoming.

The cottage was fully equipped with all the amenities. Everything was there—even an extensive selection of herbs in the kitchen, which we really appreciated. Those little details make all the difference and show just how much care has been put into the cottage.

We felt completely at home there and would love to come back again. We highly recommend it!

We hebben ontzettend genoten van ons verblijf. Je merkt aan alles dat Inge heel veel liefde en aandacht in het huisje heeft gestoken. Het voelde meteen warm en welkom.

Het huisje was van alle gemakken voorzien. Echt alles was aanwezig, zelfs een uitgebreid assortiment kruiden in de keuken, wat we erg fijn vonden. Dat soort kleine details maken het verschil en laten zien hoeveel zorg er aan het huisje is besteed.

We voelden ons er helemaal thuis en komen hier graag nog eens terug. Absoluut een aanrader!
