This naturehouse is a bright and sunny studio apartment. It has been decorated very simply in order to allow you to relax and enjoy the beautiful views that can be seen using the windows located on 3 sides of the property. It has a balcony with a view into the garden and the valley beyond. There are stairs leading up to this accommodation so it is not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. This is one of 2 properties managed under the name of 'Sosego d'Oruxo' which, in English, means the tranquility of Oruxo. Oruxo is the name of the small rural village in which the holiday home is located. If you are hoping to visit this area without a car, we have a licensed taxi on-site with an English-speaking taxi driver who will be happy to create bespoke outings for you or suggest places to visit.
Nature and surroundings
This nature house is located in a very quiet hamlet about a 30-minute walk from the town of Muxia but feels like it is in the middle of nowhere! We are privileged to have a large natural garden area which you are free to enjoy. During the seasons we have lemons, oranges, apples, pears, figs and even damsons. Feel free to pick some for your table. The garden has space to wander or play games as well as nooks in which to relax. The Camino de Santiago is, approximately 5 minutes walk away from our house. If you're considering pausing for a while after reaching the end of the world, we feel our location would be a great place to reflect on your experience. A local baker delivers to our door every morning except Sundays. We are happy to place an order for you - and highly recommend the tuna empanada!

Modern furnishings, very clean—it looks like it was recently renovated. Lots of light comes in through the many large windows. Great landlords! They treated us to homemade cake several times! It was delicious!
Modern eingerichtet, sehr sauber, scheint vor kurzem renoviert worden zu sein. Durch viele und große Fenster kommt viel Licht herein. Tolle Vermieter! Es gab mehrfach selbstgebackenen Kuchen von ihnen! Sehr lecker!

We thought it was a bit pricey for its size and location. But the hospitality and freedom we were given—and enjoyed—made for a wonderful stay. Everything feels brand-new, and the cottage is equipped with almost every amenity. You have free rein over the garden, where all kinds of apples and citrus fruits grow, among other things. We had fresh fruit from the garden for breakfast every day :) We’ll definitely be back here someday. Mat and Rosa are wonderful hosts who are always there for you and always willing to help.

Alles voelt nieuw aan en het huisje is van bijna alle gemakken voorzien. Je hebt "free rein" over de tuin, waar onder anderen allerlei soorten appels en citrussoorten groeien. We hebben elke dag ontbeten met vers fruit uit de tuin :) We komen hier absoluut een keer terug. Mat en Rosa zijn geweldige hosts die op elk moment voor je klaarstaan en altijd met je meedenken.

Hier zijn de golven tamelijk wild, maar als je iets verder richting Muxia loopt, heb je genoeg kalme stranden om te zwemmen. En het was ontzettend rustig! Wandelen is ook echt prachtig in de omgeving.
