General: The house is situated along a path above a small hamlet (Les Michots) and has a wide view of the beautiful surroundings, from sunrise to sunset. Two GR hiking trails run along the path along the garden. The accommodation is a bungalow from the early 80s of ±70m2. Nearby are three more neighboring houses, 2 of which are permanently occupied. Layout: - living room with sliding doors (Z) to child-safe terrace with panoramic views -spacious kitchen (oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, coffee maker, hob) -bathroom (bath+shower, washbasin, washing machine) -aparticular WC -bedroom-1 (double bed) -bedroom-2 (2x1-bed and baby cot) -enclosed garden all around (775M2) with various fruit trees, shrubs and herbs. Heating: there are 4 electric radiators and an electric fireplace in the living room. Availability:The house is available from June 1, 2023. Minimum rental is 3 days. The arrival day can in principle on any day (Saturday possibly after consultation).
Nature and surroundings
The house is set amidst the beautiful rolling hills of the Morvan (500m altitude) and has a magnificent view to the south. It is situated on top of a hill, surrounded by small meadows and forest edges. On the path along the garden you can walk straight into the forest. The view from the terrace and living room is breathtaking. There are deer, foxes, birds of prey, lizards and Charolais cows. Location: It is a 15-minute drive from Chateau Chinon, Moulins Engilbert, Arleuf, Préporché, Glux-en-Glenne. From Utrecht, the shortest distance is only 698km via Reims or 761km via Paris or 816km via the Ardennes and Metz/Nancy. The living room, small bedroom and terrace are south facing (awnings for terrace available). The kitchen, bathroom and large bedroom face north (wonderfully cool during hot summer nights). The Lac-de-Pannecière is at ±20km. The lively markets in Luzy, Moulins-Engilbert and Autun are nearby and easily accessible.
