Our vacation home (58m2) was built in 2022 and is tastefully and comfortably furnished. The cottage is located on open water with direct access to the Lauwersmeer. Boats can be moored directly in front of the cottage. Behind the front door you enter the hall with access to the 2 bedrooms, the bathroom with toilet and rain shower and the living room with sliding doors giving access to the first terrace. In the kitchen you will find a combination microwave/oven a fridge with freezer, a dishwasher, sink with hot/cold water and a 2-burner induction hob. Of course, coffee machine (pad and filter) pans, cutlery, glassware, plates, etc. are provided. In the living room you will find a 55" television with sound bar, a sofa that sleeps two more people. Nature and surroundings
The cottage is located on a headland in the National Park "Lauwersmeer" ideally located for water sports, nature lovers, hikers, cyclists and fishermen.Within walking distance are several restaurants. In the nearby "Esonstad" include playgrounds an indoor pool and children's playground, pitch and Putt golf course, boat / bike rental, laundry, small supermarket, cafeteria, pizzeria and a brasserie present. In Anjum, 5 km away, there is a large "Plus" supermarket, butcher shop, ATM. From Egon-stadt or Lauwersoog a visit to Schiermonnikoog is a lovely day out. Huisje was mooi. Mijn verwachtingen over "natuur" waren hoger. Daarin ben ik teleurgesteld.

Hans August 16, 2023 General rating:Het huisje is heel mooi, compact en meer dan compleet ingericht. Wel opvallend: maar 2 inductie'kookpitten'; daar moet ik aan wennen. De tuin is erg nieuw en nogal 'strak' vormgegeven, weinig natuurlijk, al zag ik best veel vlinders en hommels op de bloemen.
Het park ligt relatief afgelegen in de noordelijke punt van buitendijks Oostmahorn. Het leek erg rustig maar is nog niet klaar; er staan nog diverse kavels leeg.
De Lauwersmeer is een 'dark sky park'. Maar de tuin heeft een serie automatische (ik heb geen uit-knop gevonden) bolvormige lampen op de grond, wellicht bedoeld om gasten met een glaasje op te behoeden om in de vaart de vallen. De straatverlichting op het park bestaat uit bolvormige lampen de vooral de lucht verlichten. Hoe mooi zou het zijn als je 's nachts in het donker voor het huisje van de sterren zou kunnen genieten! Gemiste kans.Nature, peace & environment:De Lauwersmeer is fantastisch. Ik kom er al jaren. Met dit huisje is de westkant nu voor mij ook beter te bereiken.
