Nature house in Bad Bentheim

The highlight is the sauna. It is sufficient for three people and is already preheated. However, the shower wall is a little leaky, which is why water always spreads on the floor of the bathroom after showering. Another problem was the small number of teaspoons, of which unfortunately only two were available.

Das Highlight ist die Sauna. Diese ist für drei Personen ausreichend und auch schon vorgeheizt.
Die Duschwand ist jedoch etwas undicht, weshalb sich nach dem Duschen immer Wasser auf dem Boden des Bades verteilt.
Ein weiteres Problem war die geringe Anzahl an Teelöffeln, hiervon waren leider nur zwei vorhanden.

The house is in a quiet location, it is about 2-3 km to the town of Bad Bentheim. Since the weather was mostly quite bad, cycling was not or only very little possible.

Das Haus hat eine ruhige Lage, bis zur Stadt Bad Bentheim ist es ca. 2-3 km.
Da das Wetter meistens recht schlecht war, war ein Fahrrad fahren nicht oder nur sehr wenig möglich.

The cottage is comfortable and neat. But less suitable for people with poor mobility, because of its location.

Het huisje is comfortabel en netjes. Maar minder geschikt voor mensen die slecht ter been zijn, vanwege de ligging.

A fine vacation home, you walk straight into the forest for beautiful hiking trails. Also cycling in the area is very good to do with cycling nodes or simple via the signs.

Een fijne vakantiewoning, je loopt zo het bos in voor mooie wandelroutes. Ook fietsen in de omgeving is heel goed te doen met fietsknooppunten of simpel via de borden.

It was neat and well taken care of.

Het was netjes en goed verzorgd.

This cottage was completely as expected. The furnishings are modern enough, a functioning dishwasher and oven, a wonderful shower. The rooms were spacious enough that even with an adult family everyone has the opportunity to retreat for a while. The living room is spacious and lovely sofa and chairs. The surroundings are breathtaking and the peace around the house super!!! As days out we went to a nearby zoo, did a city walk, shopping center Nordhorn visited, and a swimming paradise in Osnabrück. The town of Bad Bentheim itself is pretty village-like with a cool castle with a delicious restaurant. The owners were super nice and helpful. Really old-fashioned hospitality that you don't often experience these days. It felt like visiting a cottage with family.

Dit huisje was helemaal volgens verwachting. De inrichting is modern genoeg, een goedwerkende vaatwasser en oven, een heerlijke douche. De kamers waren ruim genoeg waardoor ook met een volwassen gezin iedereen de mogelijkheid heeft om zich even terug te trekken. De woonkamer is ruim en heerlijke bank en stoelen. De omgeving is adembenemend en de rust om het huisje super!!!

Als dagjes uit zijn we naar een nabij gelegen dierentuin geweest, een stadswandeling gedaan, winkel centrum Nordhorn bezocht, en een zwemparadijs in Osnabrück. Het stadje Bad Bentheim zelf is lekker dorps met een gaaf kasteel waar een heerlijk restaurant zit.

De eigenaars waren super aardig en behulpzaam. Echt ouderwetse gastvrijheid die je tegenwoordig niet meer vaak meemaakt. Het voelde alsof je bij familie een huisje bezocht.
