Nature house in Heerde

The cottage is fully equipped, cozy, clean, a friendly, hospitable owner, in short, nothing wrong with it. The only drawback: for a quiet New Year's Eve it is unfortunately not suitable. No fireworks are allowed on the estate itself, but the constant fireworks noise from nearby Heerde was unfortunately downright extreme.

Het huisje is compleet ingericht, gezellig, schoon, een vriendelijke, gastvrije eigenaresse, kortom, niets mis mee. Het enige nadeel: voor een rustig Oud & Nieuw is het helaas niet geschikt. Op het landgoed zelf mag geen vuurwerk afgestoken worden, maar de constante vuurwerk-herrie vanuit het nabijgelegen Heerde was helaas ronduit extreem.

Een heel fijn, mooi huisje op een prachtige locatie.

This cottage is highly recommended for those who seek silence and nature, but do not want to be isolated in a backyard somewhere. Lots of hiking and biking opportunities. There is plenty to see and do in the area. I did not do that because of the old dog, but at the cottage it was also lovely to sit and hear the birds. In short: of the nature houses I have had so far, this was absolutely the best.

Dit huisje is echt een aanrader voor wie de stilte en de natuur zoekt, maar niet geïsoleerd ergens op een achtererf wil zitten. Veel wandel- en fietsmogelijkheden. Er is genoeg te zien en te doen in de omgeving. Dat heb ik niet gedaan i.v.m. de oude hond, maar bij het huisje was het ook heerlijk om te zitten en de vogels te horen. Kortom: van de natuurhuisjes die ik tot nu toe heb gehad was dit absoluut de beste.

This is a wonderfully comfortable cottage. Everything is there, neat and clean. Lovely underfloor heating. Prima bathroom. The cottage has been stylishly renovated with beautiful authentic beams. The box bed slept well. Although the garden has a lot of shade because of the many tall oaks, there is always a place with sun. Many nesting birds in the garden. The hostess and host live in the farmhouse next to the cottage, which is easy if you can't figure something out. Big advantage of this nature house I found that you are in the inhabited world. There is a path along the house, where people with a dog or horse walk by and have a chat over the hedge. So you are not "tucked away" in the back of a yard somewhere. The estate is beautiful. I was there with an older dog, who was able to take nice short walks. The cat also enjoyed herself. Plenty of beams to climb over.

Dit is een heerlijk comfortabel huisje. Alles aanwezig, netjes en schoon. Heerlijke vloerverwarming. Prima badkamer. Het huisje is stijlvol verbouwd met mooie authentieke balken. De bedstee sliep lekker. Hoewel de tuin door de vele hoge eiken veel schaduw heeft, is er altijd wel een plekje met zon te vinden. Veel broedende vogels in de tuin. De gastvrouw en -heer wonen in de boerderij naast het huisje, wat makkelijk is als je ergens niet uit komt. Groot voordeel van dit natuurhuisje vond ik dat je in de bewoonde wereld zit. Er loopt een pad langs het huis, waar mensen met een hond of paard langslopen en even een praatje over de heg kunnen maken. Je bent dus niet ergens achter op een erf ‘weggestopt’. Het landgoed is prachtig. Ik was er met een oudere hond, die er leuke korte wandelingen kon maken. Ook de kat heeft zich vermaakt. Genoeg balken om overheen te klimmen.
