Wake up to the birds! The little house is in our yard, on the edge of a beautiful nature reserve, centrally located within the Netherlands, in the Bommelerwaard. Walk from the cottage directly into the woods or go out by bike! The cottage is fully equipped for a wonderful stay. The kitchen has an electric stove, mini oven (airfryer), microwave, kettle and refrigerator, as well as all kitchen utensils for cooking. The small bathroom is located against the cottage and has a large walk-in shower, sink and toilet. In front of the cottage we have a sunny terrace with a seating area and at the back a lovely garden. In the summer there is also the possibility to rent a BBQ or SUPS. Bicycles can be safely stored in the shed. If necessary, bikes can be charged.The cottage has a private parking space.
Nature and surroundings
Totally unwind with the sound of nature! We live at the end of the street, on a former dairy farm, in the middle of the polder, so you have no noise from traffic. The cottage is on the edge of nature reserve the Rampert. From here you can walk through to nature reserve the Lieskampen. Here you will find a diversity of birds and with luck spot some beautiful deer! There are several routes available for walking or cycling. The Maas and the Waal are a stone's throw away. Several beautiful authentic towns such as Heusden and Woudrichem are within 25 minutes away by car. The nearest public transport station (Zaltbommel) is 8KM from our cottage.
