Wake up to the birds! The little house is located in our yard, on the edge of a beautiful nature reserve, centrally located, in the Bommelerwaard. Walk directly into the forest or go out by bike! The cottage is fully equipped. The kitchen has an electric stove, mini oven (airfryer), microwave, kettle and refrigerator. Also, all kitchen utensils are available for cooking. The spacious bathroom is located against the cottage and has a large walk-in shower, sink and toilet. In front of the house we have a sunny terrace with seating and at the rear a lovely garden with chickens. CAUTION: mosquito net is in spring / autumn a must. In the summer there is also the possibility to rent a BBQ. Bicycles can be safely stored in the barn. If necessary, bikes can be charged. The cottage has a private parking space.

Totally unwind with the sound of nature! We live at the end of the street, on a former dairy farm, in the middle of the polder, so you have no noise from traffic. The cottage is on the edge of nature reserve the Rampert. From here you can walk through to nature reserve the Lieskampen. Here you will find a diversity of birds and with luck you will spot some beautiful deer! There are several routes available for walking or cycling. The Maas and the Waal are a stone's throw away. Several beautiful authentic towns such as Heusden and Woudrichem are within 25 minutes away by car. The nearest public transport station (Zaltbommel) is 8KM from our cottage.

Keep in mind that the accommodation is in someone's yard and close to their residence. We were stung to death by mosquitoes. Until 3 a.m. we were busy with a fly swatter, but we couldn't stand it. After 15 dead mosquitoes we still heard them. Went to sleep with our heads under the blanket, but we were both still completely covered in mosquito bites. Bring a mosquito net or an anti-mosquito device!!!

Met hoofd onder de deken gaan slapen, maar we zaten allebei toch nog helemaal onder de muggenbeten.
