We would like to welcome you to our nature house. A house that feels like a home! From the garden-oriented living room with sliding doors you can walk onto the sunny terrace. In autumn and winter the gas fireplace provides extra warmth and atmosphere. A single bedroom and the utility room are also on the ground floor. The spacious kitchen with patio doors, terrace, 2nd gas fireplace and toilet are half a floor below. On the 1st floor there are 2 bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with twin beds. On the 2nd floor there are 2 bathrooms. One with shower, sink and toilet, the other with bath, shower and sink. The private garden (1200m2) offers privacy and space for sun and shade. The driveway is spacious enough for 2 cars. In the barn are 2 tour bikes with which you can explore the beautiful surroundings. We like to stay in our house and keep it clean ourselves. It is a large house but we have deliberately chosen to limit the number of beds to 4 or 5.
Nature and surroundings
Our cottage is located on Buitengoed Bos en Enk. The surroundings invite you to make beautiful walks, such as over the nearby Boelekeerlspad or over Landgoed Slangenburg. The scenic landscape of the Achterhoek is perfect for (long) bicycle tours. The Eight Castles Route is a fine example of this. With a mountain bike you can also have a good time here. In the vicinity are several nature reserves. Bicycle and hiking maps are available in the cottage. There is also plenty to experience in terms of culture. In Ruurlo Castle you will find museum MORE for magical realism, in Doesburg you can visit museum Lalique (in addition to of course eating a cup of mustard soup) and in Zutphen there is museum Henriette Polak. We also go out regularly and like to discover new trips or activities. We have children so we are also looking for fun outings for them. Feel free to email us for tips.
