In Murcia, next to Andalusia, at the foot of the mountains, near the sea and the bustling city of Cartagena in southern Spain, we have a lovely spacious cottage for two people. This wooden chalet (renovated in 2023) is comfortable and cozy with double bed, air conditioning, shower, toilet, sink and covered terrace for breakfast or a glass of wine. Next to the cabin you will find a large, bright kitchen with gas stove, microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker and air conditioning. There is also an extra (large) bathroom with toilet, shower and washing machine. For a refreshing splash there is a swimming pool completely renovated and enlarged in May 2026 with a view at your disposal. Around your cottage you will find plenty of shade to relax or read a book. There are also two other nature houses on our property: Casa Boletes and Casa Muela. In addition, we receive up to three campers per day. We do not rent bicycles ourselves, but we can mediate bike rentals. Delivery and pick-up service for a fee.
Nature and surroundings
Our nature house is located in the protected natural park Sierra de la Muela, Cabo Tiñoso y Roldan. You sit, sleep and "live" at the foot of mountains up to about 650 meters. From our property you walk straight into nature and you can make many attractive walks. Not only short rounds, but also serious climbs and long day trips. We provide them on request (Komoot) and are happy to help you with beautiful routes. Maps are at your disposal. By bike you are in 25 minutes in the old city of Cartagena or at the beach of El Portús. Mountain and gravel bikers can also enjoy the many unpaved trails in the area. A half-hour walk away is the small but lively village of Perín. Six days a week there is a 'Club Social' open where you can eat delicious tapas and have a nice glass of beer or wine. Groceries can be bought in Canteras, a fifteen-minute drive away. Of course there is a bottle of Spanish cava waiting for you. We would love it if you would come and stay with us!
