Uniquely located water villa (five bedrooms, four bathrooms, double bedstead) on over 1/8 acre of private land including >1 acre of private water. Private dock (boat not included) with terrace and children's play beach. The house is extremely spacious, yet cozy thanks to the attractive interior design by Lotte Helmig (YourTailorMate). Fully equipped and very sustainably built: optimally insulated, gas-free, equipped with a heat pump and solar panels, with underfloor heating and heat recovery throughout the house. Very fast fiber optic WiFi both inside and in the garden (KPN). Three private parking spaces on the canal side with an 11 kW (Type 2) charging station from Vandebron (common charging passes accepted). Covered terrace with cozy dining table (10 pers.), lounge area (6 pers.) and open outdoor fireplace. Two sun terraces, large sitting deck on the water, petanque court. Living room with corner sofa (8 pers.), dining room with large dining table (10 pers.), breakfast and drinks bar (4 pers.).
Nature and surroundings
In beautiful Sûdwest-Fryslân, amidst the most famous Frisian lakes and a few minutes by boat or bike from the Langweerder Wielen lies this sustainable water villa for ten on the sun-drenched north shore of a private lake. The house offers a magnificent view over the water and the four bird islands located in it. The natural vegetation of banks and islands provides shelter and privacy. The rolling, expansive garden designed by Jacqueline Volker (StyleGardens) surrounds the house. Playing meadow, borders with shaggy grasses and native flowers define the picture. Hares and herons can be seen at dusk, wild geese and oystercatchers during the day. On the canal side, where it does not disturb anyone, the children can have fun on the large sunken trampoline and there is a real petanque (boules) court. Lovely, quiet summer evenings with a starry sky like you rarely see anymore in the Netherlands.
