It is a typical regional farmhouse made of natural stone. The antique country house is situated on a 13000 square meter plot surrounded by palm, olive and fig trees. We have carefully and tastefully restored this formerly abandoned ruin with great attention to detail and the vacation home "la chiesetta" is completely independent and has its own driveway, private terrace and garden. It is located approx. 60m from the main house, which we occupy all year round.house layout of 'La Chiesetta' (2-5 persons):Large kitchen-living room (30sqm), bathroom with shower.Separate bedroom with double bed in an old vault (12sqm), open mezzanine (15sqm) with staircase from the kitchen-living room, with double or 2 single beds, private terrace with outdoor shower (hot water), garden with sun loungers and hammocks under the fig tree. All colors of the rainbow are welcome.
Nature and surroundings
After a beautiful drive along extensive olive groves (13km), you reach the very varied coastline. Kilometers of sandy beaches, "Alimini" beach, "Baia dei Turchi" - cliffs interrupted by small sandy bays with crystal-clear water: Passing small fishing villages, you reach Cap Santa Maria di Leuca. The country house belongs to the rural community of Carpignano Salentino (3500 inhabitants); a pretty village with an old town center (1km); shopping facilities, 3 restaurants. Distances:- Brindisi airport 85km. - Lecce 26km. - Otranto 15km. - Gallipoli 40km. - Southern tip of the Cap of Santa Maria di Leuca 50km.
