Nature house in Kesteren

The hiker's hut is a mobile home finished very nicely and originally with an attached covered terrace where you can enjoy the beautiful view of nature.... I came from a workshop in Wageningen, so unfortunately did not have time to go hiking or biking in the area.... That will be for next time :-)

De trekkershut is een pipowagen die heel mooi en origineel is afgewerkt met een aangebouwd overdekt terras waar je kan genieten van het prachtige uitzicht op de natuur... Ik kwam van een workshop in Wageningen, dus heb jammer genoeg geen tijd gehad om in de omgeving te gaan wandelen of fietsen... Dat zal voor een volgende keer zijn :-)

A beautiful place! An old farm with goats, an orchard, and many nice spots for campers and tents.... Yet you have plenty of privacy in the cabin and a beautiful view of meadows. Woke up in the morning nice and well rested with a ray of sunshine and birds singing. Mmm... Very friendly welcome by Erik who also briefly explained to me the operation of the stove. I immediately felt at home and welcome.

Een prachtige plek! Een oude boerderij met geitjes, een boomgaard, en vele leuke plekjes voor campers en tenten... Toch heb je voldoende privacy in de trekkershut en een prachtig uitzicht op weilanden. 's morgens fijn en goed uitgerust wakker geworden met een zonnestraal en fluitende vogels. Mmm... Heel vriendelijk ontvangen door Erik die me de werking van de kachel ook nog even heeft uitgelegd. Ik voelde me direct thuis en welkom.

I thought it was absolutely fantastic. Beautiful nature and environment in and around the campground. Erik is incredibly friendly and kind and gives you a warm welcome. The mobile home is fully equipped, even towels, all kinds of dishes, cutlery, kettle etc. With our own gas stove we were completely self-sufficient. The plumbing was fine and even beautiful. You have a big fine veranda where you can spend wonderful time and also the campfire place further away completes it. And even a food forest on the property! We will come back again!

Ik vond het helemaal fantastisch. Prachtige natuur en omgeving op en rondom de camping. Erik is ontzettend vriendelijke en aardig en geeft je een warm welkom. De pipowagen is van alle gemakken voorzien, zelfs handdoeken, allerlei servies, bestek, waterkoker etc. Met een eigen gaspitje waren we helemaal zelfvoorzienend. Het sanitaire was fijn en zelfs mooi. Je hebt een grote fijne veranda waar je heerlijk tijd kan doorbrengen en ook de kampvuur plek verderop maakt het helemaal af. En zelfs een voedselbos op het terrein! Wij komen weer terug!

It is a suuuuuper good place and worth far more than your payment. everything is good when we were there, good place to find, clean, quiet, and good surroudings. they even provide you beddings, grinding coffee, filter paper there, and cutlery. if you have your own gas, u can make good food there also.
