The cottage is located on the Veluwe Lake overlooking the lake towards the beautiful Hanseatic town of Elburg. Enjoying all the water birds feasting on the fish and water plants in the shallows in front of the boat. If desired, one can rent a boat, sub or canoe from us to explore the water. One can also bbq on the property or enjoy on the picnic benches that are provided. The boat has chairs on the terrace and a table for the morning outside to enjoy beautiful sunrises and all the bird beauty that passes as moorhens, grebes, swans, kingfishers and even the bald eagle is regularly spotted here. with us for rent: boat with motor well-equipped fishing boat sub canoe kayak bikes wellness (wood-fired sauna, hot tub and cold water shower)
Nature and surroundings
Cycling and hiking are excellent here. Both around the lake and in the woods you can enjoy all the natural beauty. For trips, the Hanse towns of Elburg, Harderwijk and Kampen are highly recommended. Nature, peace & environment:Location is almost perfect on the randmeer between Harderwijk and Elburg. The house boat is 50-60 cm from the shore and lower than the shore. There is no gangplank or railing to hold on to. Have a mobility problem? Hospitality, especially considering the price, was substandard: heating was off, fridge was off, we had to make our own bed. We have experienced this differently.
