The forest house is a place to disappear from the radar for a while, to be out of reach for a while, every now and then you need it. A few days alone or together with your loved one. This self-designed forest house is located in a wooded area and feels warm and comfortable. Through the French doors you have access to a large terrace. It possesses a modern bathroom with a spacious shower, sink and toilet. The kitchen has a dining table and there is a sitting area with a record player and a speaker table. The bedroom you enter through the attractive sliding doors, there are 2 extra long (210cm) hotel box spring beds with high comfort. The beds are made upon arrival and the comforters are made of natural materials, from the bed you can watch a movie (beamer is available, the blind is also a projection screen). There is plenty of storage space in the custom-made room divider and the cottage has free WIFI. The forest house was newly built in 2023.
Nature and surroundings
The forest house is located on a small forest park with winding forest paths. This small-scale park is located in the Veluwe forests. Here you wake up to the singing of birds and from the forest house you can regularly see a squirrel clambering early in the morning or later in the afternoon. The park is within walking distance of Nunspeet (with a wide range of restaurants and stores) and the Zandenplas with lovely swimming water and fine sandy beaches. Within cycling distance of Elburg, Harderwijk, the Veluwe lake and nice Veluwe villages. The golf course is only a street away. Nunspeet is the heart of the Veluwe, an ideal base for cycling and walking but also for recreation on or at the Veluwe Lake. Oh yes, there is also a train station 15 minutes walk (or a few minutes by public transport bike) for a visit to Zwolle or Amersfoort, for example. And when you return from your adventures, there are cozy restaurants nearby and a cozy bocce court at the park.
