We spent three weeks in Ortaffa and felt welcome and right at home. It was quite warm, but the pool and the sea—just 20 minutes away—provided the necessary relief from the heat. When needed, the fans did their job. In the evenings, we’d head up to the private grounds to enjoy the beautiful sunsets. As a birdwatcher, you’ll be in heaven around the house and in the surrounding area. We went on nine hikes in the mountains and along the coast.(Komoot has plenty of hiking trails in this area.) Nice spots to visit. A supermarket—including cheap gas—is a 10-minute drive away. The carrots and zucchini, fresh from the garden, were delicious. Jars of jam and eggs were waiting for us upon arrival. A warm welcome; every morning and evening, we were greeted by the sweet dog. Great tips for exploring the area. A stay close to nature. The place more than met our expectations—thanks to the hosts.

Wij zijn drie weken in Ortaffa geweest en voelden ons welkom en thuis. Het was best warm, maar het zwembad en de zee op 20 minuten afstand brachten de nodige verkoeling. Wanneer nodig deden de ventilatoren hun werk. 's Avonds even naar boven op het privé terrein voor de prachtige zonsondergangen. Als vogelaar hun je je hart ophalen rond het huis en in de omgeving. 9 wandelingen gedaan in de bergen en langs de kust.(komoot weet veel wandelingen te vinden in deze omgeving) Leuke plekjes om te bezoeken. Een supermarkt, inclusief goedkope benzine op 10 minuten rijden. De worteltjes en courgettes vers van het land waren heerlijk. Potjes jam en eieren bij aankomst. Een warm welkom, Elke ochtend en avond een begroeting door de lieve hond. Prima tips om de omgeving te verkennen. Een verblijf dicht bij de natuur bij. Het verblijf heeft ruimschoots aan onze verwachtingen voldaan waarvoor dank aan de verhuurders

The cottage is very clean and fully equipped, including outdoor furniture. That was convenient, since we spent almost all our time outside. The pool is wonderful. We slept very well in the bed.

Het huisje is heel schoon en compleet,ook met buitenmeubilair. Handig, omdat we bijna alleen buiten hebben geleefd. Het zwembad is heerlijk. We hebben prima geslapen op het bed.

The cottage is located next to the owners' house and has its own private patio. You'll run into the owners from time to time. They're very nice people who know a lot about the property and the surrounding area. We had a wonderful week there.

Het huisje staat naast het huis van de eigenaren en heeft een eigen afgebakend teras. De eigenaren kom je af en toe tegen. Dat zijn heel aardige mensen, die veel weten over het terrein en de omgeving. We hebben er een fijne week gehad.

Blissful peace on the property, with only the super-friendly nature-loving owners as neighbors. Private terrace at the bungalow. Intermarché for shopping 5 minutes away.
