The B&B is an attractive and luxurious apartment, in the Lauwersmeer area and a stone's throw from Unesco World Heritage Site Wadden Sea. In the kitchen there is a KRUPS NESPRESSO coffee machine. Different flavors of coffee and tea are waiting for you. The kitchen includes a microwave/oven, fridge/freezer, kettle, dishwasher and induction hob. Relax and unwind in the spacious Finnish sauna and from October the hot tub with bubbles! There are several scented essential oils available. Choose your favorite scent and put it in the infusion water. Hamam towels, bathrobes and towels are waiting for you. Every two months the latest magazines like JAN, COUNTRY LIFE, LINDA etc. are also waiting for you. Fresh tea? MUNT, GEMBER and HONEY can be found in the refrigerator. You can use the beautiful garden and the canopy. We provide a deluxe breakfast, using local produce, brand new eggs and Frisian sugar bread. NO BREAKFAST AVAILABLE ON WEEKDAYS.
Nature and surroundings
A few km away is the old fishing village of Paesens/Moddergat where you can visit the museum 't Fiskershúske or walk along the Wad. Wadlopen is a unique experience! Various tours are possible, including the crossing to the island of Schiermonnikoog. You can make beautiful cycling and walking tours here. Electric bicycles can also be booked. Also visit the Elfsteden/ fortified city of Dokkum with its beautiful old canals, canal houses, stores and cozy restaurants. Birdwatchers will also find plenty to do here. Big chance to spot a bald eagle. You can also enjoy fantastic fishing on the Lauwersmeer, for example. We also offer the possibility of a round trip in our boat with skipper in good weather on the Lauwersmeer or through Dokkum. Do you prefer the Wadden Sea? Then you can join the Wadden skipper. There is so much more to experience here. Nice trips, attractions, etc. are collected for you in a folder, which is ready for you in the B & B.
