We had a fantastic time in the cozy Blokhut, in the quiet neighborhood of Wedde. Every corner of the cottage has been decorated with so much love. We were taken care of incredibly well by our hostess Rosa, who lives here with her family.
There’s also a little stand where you can buy some seasonal vegetables (whatever’s in season from their own garden—all organic), fresh eggs, and jam—truly delicious. On the farm, there’s a pony, a donkey, cats, and goats. And the swallows sang for us.
In short: a place to completely unwind and enjoy yourself. We cycled there from Winschoten, and the surrounding area is perfect for cycling. We were also allowed to walk on their land, where we had a beautiful view of the surroundings.
The cabin can get a bit chilly, even in the summer, but there’s a wood stove. All in all, it was wonderful, and definitely a place we’d love to come back to. We werden ontzettend goed verzorgd door gastvrouw Rosa, die hier met haar familie woont.
Er is ook een klein kraampje waar je een paar seizoensgroenten ( - wat er van hun eigen lang komt - allemaal biologisch), verse eieren en jam kunt kopen – echt heerlijk. Op de boerderij zijn een pony, een ezel, katten en geiten. En de zwaluwen zongen voor ons.
Kortom: een plek om helemaal tot rust te komen en te genieten. Wij kwamen met de fiets vanuit Winschoten en je kunt prachtig fietsen in de omgeving. We mochten ook op hun landje wandelen en hadden daar een mooi uitzicht over de omgeving.
Het hutje kan wel wat fris zijn, ook in de zomer, maar er is een houtkachel. Al met al was het geweldig, en zeker een plek waar we nog eens terug willen komen. Dank jullie wel!This text is automatically translated. -
