The building is the last house of Lugeastre Bas at an altitude of 800 meters. It is a favorite place for lovers of quiet vacations and outdoor activities. This cottage offers modern and high comfort, extremely cozy, lots of space inside and outside and with a beautiful unobstructed view on the north side and from the large garden (4800m2). Absolute peace, quiet and relaxation in the middle of the vast green nature of the Regional Natural Park Livradois-Forez in the Massif Central. The road stops here, there is no traffic. in the garden or on the terrace you imagine yourself alone in the silent nature.
Nature and surroundings
The southern part of the Massif Central today is full of forests while this used to be a region where grape vines were grown. The low mountain range is vast and very varied. A lot of wildlife lives here and the inhabitants treat their environment with respect for nature. A pleasant climate with truly four seasons. Special birds, hardly any industry and extremely clean air. It is a sparsely populated area and a paradise for hikers (hiking trails directly from home using free apps or maps). There are also other outdoor activities in the area. Cyclists, mountain bikers (routes are available for both) are increasingly discovering this beautiful region. Paragliding (have reservations made well in advance!), kayaking, canoeing, rafting, tree courses, swimming in natural waters and fishing are also available. In addition to all this, there is the largest concentration of 12th century structures in Europe.
