The space and nature were fantastic, only the peace that everything also radiated was disturbed around the pool, by the noise of road traffic. You had to be able to exclude yourself from that.

De ruimte en natuur waren fantastisch, alleen de rust die alles ook uitstraalde werd rond het zwembad zittend, door het geluid van het wegverkeer verstoord. Daar moest je je voor uit kunnen sluiten.

We found the layout a little strange. There are two very spacious bedrooms, with their own sink, couch and TV. There was no living room. However, there was a somewhat cramped kitchen with a round dining table and a small bathroom with only shower and toilet. We were two couples and we would have appreciated a cozy living room. Fortunately, the weather was nice and we mostly sat outside. In terms of equipment, we found the kitchen a bit on the skimpy side. Given the price of the cottage, we had expected more of this. The cottage is advertised as wheelchair accessible. The cottage is on the ground floor and it is ground level, but this is where the accessibility ends. The kitchen and bathroom are too small for someone in a wheelchair. Around the cottage is about half a meter paved. Other than that, you have to plow through gravel and grass with the wheelchair. Finally, the swimming pool. Beautifully landscaped, but completely inaccessible for people in wheelchairs.

We vonden de indeling een beetje vreemd. Er zijn twee hele ruime slaapkamers, met eigen wastafel, bankje en tv. Er was geen huiskamer. Wel was er een wat krappe keuken met een ronde eettafel en een kleine badkamer met alleen douche en wc. We waren met twee stellen en we hadden een gezellige woonkamer gewaardeerd. Gelukkig was het lekker weer en zaten we voornamelijk buiten.

Qua uitrusting vonden we de keuken wat aan de magere kant. Gezien de prijs van het huisje hadden we hier meer van verwacht. Ook het buitenmeubilair was basic.

Het huisje wordt aangeprezen als rolstoeltoegankelijk. Het huisje is op de begane grond en het is gelijkvloers, maar hier houdt de toegankelijkheid op. De keuken en badkamer zijn te klein voor iemand in een rolstoel. Rondom het huisje is ongeveer een halve meter bestraat. Verder moet je door grint en gras ploegen met de rolstoel. Tot slot het zwembad. Prachtig aangelegd, maar volstrekt niet toegankelijk voor mensen in een rolstoel.

It is a nice cottage located in a rural setting. The cottage is located on a closed property where the owner also lives. There is a fairly busy road nearby that you can hear well. The owner of the cottage is very friendly and helpful.

Het is een leuk huisje, gelegen in een landelijke omgeving. Het huisje ligt op een afgesloten terrein waar de eigenaar ook woont. Er loopt een tamelijk drukke weg in de buurt die je goed hoort.

De eigenaar van het huisje is bijzonder vriendelijk en behulpzaam.
