Well-equipped; everything you need is in the cottage. A cozy atmosphere and lovely touches. Clearly designed and furnished with care. A comfortable bed. There were just the two of us; theoretically, there’s room for more people, but all the rooms are connected, and the cottage isn’t very big. We wouldn’t have wanted to stay there with more people. There are a few minor issues here and there regarding practicality and comfort. The bathroom is very small, for example, and the open sleeping areas are tricky if you want to sit comfortably on the couch in October but don’t want to sleep in a warm room. The couch isn’t very comfortable to sit on.

    Nature, peace & environment: 5 /5

Located in a quiet, beautiful spot if you’re looking for that “middle of nowhere” vibe. It’s also a great base for exploring Zeeuws-Vlaanderen. You can easily walk up onto the dike along the Scheldt. Stunning views. Beautiful surroundings with lots of greenery and small country roads. Fortunately, there’s a small village with amenities not too far away.
