Delightful cottage, in the grounds of an old Rectory from 1840. The whole is fully equipped in a green oasis with swimming pool (April-September free to use ) and sauna in the garden (fee ). The pool is of course also used by us. The cottage is completely detached with a private terrace, adjacent to the pool, in a garden of 5000 m2, where you wake up to the sound of many birds and further silence. Bus stop at 1 km, and train station at 3 km. Parking is available in front of the Presbytery and is free. The cottage has a recently renovated shower room, there is air conditioning and of course a fully equipped kitchen, including electric stove, refrigerator, nespresso machine and oven. Beds and linen are of course provided. As hosts we are happy to receive all guests personally, but otherwise you have the kingdom all to yourself! For questions we are always available.
Nature and surroundings
The Rectory borders a fantastic nature reserve (Hurnse Kil) along the river Waal, where you can enjoy hiking, biking and relaxing in the floodplains. You can meet deer, badgers, beavers and all kinds of birds, if you know where to go and are willing to be on your feet even at very early moments of the day. In addition, visits to Zaltbommel and 's-Hertogenbosch are recommended. Several restaurants within walking/cycling distance and a supermarket at 2 km.
