This nature house is located close to the natural playground. Thanks to its high pent roof and many windows, the interior is spacious and bright. A 70 m² wooden water lodge for six people, with three bedrooms. One bedroom has a double bed, one has two twin beds, and one has a bunk bed. Just 40 meters away is a large shared dock with a terrace and picnic table, located on the open waterway. The terrace is fenced: 11 by 3 meters, with a 90-centimeter fence. Inside, there is a wood stove. The kitchen has a dishwasher, an oven, and an electric stove. There is approximately 400 m² of open space around the cottage. You’ll be staying at our location: twelve wooden waterfront lodges and three group accommodations spread across three hectares, right next to De Alde Feanen National Park. The property is situated on Lake Wijde Ee. From the lake, you can paddle directly to Grou or De Alde Feanen without passing under any bridges, and in the opposite direction to Akkrum and Lake Sneekermeer. The area is surrounded by meadows, reed beds, and canals, and the sounds of birds are all you’ll hear. Cars are parked in the central parking lot, which has six charging stations; you can walk to your cottage with a luggage cart. The grounds feature a play area, a playground, a ping-pong table, and a water slide that ends in the lake. You can rent the floating sauna in two-hour blocks, and upon request, it can be taken out onto the lake. You can rent a rowboat, canoe, or stand-up paddleboard on-site.
