This waterfront lodge is a unique and luxurious vacation home (with 2 bathrooms) for 4 people. It’s located right on the open waterway with a view of the Wijde Ee. The cottage is well-equipped and offers all the basic amenities. The living area is slightly elevated, so you can look out over the water from the couch, right over the small dike. A round dining table stands between the kitchen and the living area. An extra seating spot has also been created by the window in the kitchen. This way, you’ll always find a cozy spot. The wood stove provides warmth in the late evening and during the winter. Of course, the vacation cottage is well-insulated and has supplemental heating for cold days. The bedrooms, each with access to its own bathroom, offer extra privacy.
Nature and surroundings
Pean-buiten is located directly on the Wijde Ee, a waterway that is part of one of Friesland’s most beautiful boating areas. From this lake, you can easily sail northeast (without crossing any bridges) to Grou or the Alde Feanen National Park, home to the villages of Eernewoude and De Veenhoop. If you head southwest, you’ll reach Akkrum, Terherne, and the Sneekermeer. Experience this beautiful area from the water by canoe, stand-up paddleboard, rowboat, motorboat, or sailboat. Thanks to its variety, the waterways are ideal for both beginners and experienced water sports enthusiasts. In addition, there are various cycling and hiking opportunities in the area. The mix of meadows and waterways characterizes the Frisian landscape. The dining and cultural offerings in the various villages—such as Akkrum, Grou, De Veenhoop, and Aldeboarn—are excellent. You’ll find suggestions for day trips under our “Activities” section. Cars are parked in the central parking lot, which has six charging stations; you can walk to your cottage with a luggage cart.

Zeer behulpzame mensen. Prachtig en volledig huis op een super locatie.
Veel privacy.Prachtige locatie. Wij hebben vooral Friesland vanuit het water mogen ontdekken.

After that, you will receive a partial refund of the trip cost and a 100% refund of the deposit:
• Up to 42 days before arrival: 70% refund
• 42–28 days before arrival: 40% refund
• 28 days through the day of arrival: 10% refund
• On the day of arrival or later: no refund
