We had two wonderful weeks. The first week was very hot but there are plenty of sheltered spots. Lots of hiking. Well two walks from the cottage that almost required a machete. The hiking trails are not always well maintained. A trip to Nevers is highly recommended. Also the walk near Luzy and around Decize are very nice and good to do in terms of distance. The cottage is fully equipped, from dishwashing brush to food processor. In and around the house is plenty to discover. In the cottage many discoveries like old photos, books, collection of teapots etc. Very funny. Outside many terraces, critters and flowers. Good simple washer and dryer. Two points to note: the doorways are very low. My husband hit his head quite a few times. The WiFi does not work super. Mostly no wifi and reception on G4 or 5 was not always top notch either. We could only connect cell phones to the wifi. Conclusion super location, definitely recommended
Wij hebben twee heerlijke weken gehad. De eerste week was erg warm maar er zijn genoeg beschutte plekken. Veel gewandeld. Wel twee wandelingen vanuit het huisje waar je bijna een kapmes voor nodig had. De wandelroutes worden niet altijd goed onderhouden. Een trip naar Nevers is een absolute aanrader. Ook de wandeling bij Luzy en rond Decize zijn heel leuk en qua afstand goed te doen. Het huisje is compleet ingericht, van afwas borstel tot keukenmachine. In en rond het huis is genoeg te ontdekken. In het huisje veel ontdekkingen zoals oude foto’s, boeken, verzameling theepotten enz. Heel grappig. Buiten veel terrassen, beestjes en bloemen. Goede eenvoudige wasmachine en droger. Twee puntjes om op te letten: de deuropeningen zijn erg laag. Mijn man heeft een aantal keer flink zijn hoofd gestoten. De WiFi werkt niet super. Meestal geen wifi en ook de ontvangst op G4 of 5 was niet altijd top. Wij konden alleen de mobieltjes verbinden aan de wifi. Conclusie super locatie, zeker een aanrader
