Nature house in SAINT GERMAIN LES BELLES

It didn't really give the feeling of a nature house. There were also frequent people parking their cars in front of the cottage to go to the woods.

Het gaf niet echt het gevoel van een natuurhuisje. Er kwamen ook regelmatig mensen die hun auto voor het huisje parkeerden om naar het bos te gaan.

Not suitable for seniors. The bedroom is upstairs and there is no toilet there. The spiral staircase downstairs is awkward. The neighbor's house is right next to the nature house, with a family with young children. This is not mentioned in the description of the cottage. The cottage is otherwise clean and everything is there.

Niet geschikt voor senioren. De slaapkamer is boven en daar is geen toilet. De wenteltrap naar beneden is lastig. Het huis van de buren staat pal naast het natuurhuisje, met een gezin met jonge kinderen. Dit wordt niet vermeld in de beschrijving van het huisje. Het huisje is verder proper en alles is aanwezig.

A beautiful green hilly area. The cottage is located on a cul-de-sac in the middle of greenery. Despite the disappointing weather it is a wonderful location. The house is functional and neatly clean everything you could possibly need is there. The house is fully equipped, the location is an oasis of calm. Exactly what we were looking for it has charmed us tremendously secluded and yet close to everything, really something we were looking for. Everything is to our liking, the owner Leo and Letty were very friendly, helpful and gave us a feeling "at home" and have provided us with many tips. Everywhere fine places to sit around the house, lots of privacy, and the view is beautiful. For us it was nice that the garden was well fenced and the dog could not leave the grounds. In short, our vacation is our good fortune at nature house "Saint Germain Les Belles"

Een mooie groene heuvelachtige omgeving. Het huisje ligt aan een doodlopende straat, middenin het groen. Ondanks het tegenvallend weer is het is een heerlijke locatie.
Het huis is functioneel en keurig schoon alles wat je nodig zou kunnen hebben is aanwezig.
Het huis is van alle gemakken voorzien, de locatie is een oase van rust. Precies waar we naar op zoek waren het heeft ons enorm kunnen bekoren
Afgelegen en toch overal nabij, echt iets wat we zochten.
Alles is ons prima bevallen, de eigenaar Leo en Letty waren zeer vriendelijk, behulpzaam en gaven ons een gevoel “thuis” te zijn en hebben ons voorzien van allerlei tips.
Overal fijne plekjes om te zitten rondom het huis, veel privacy, en het uitzicht is prachtig.
Voor ons was het fijn dat de tuin goed omheind was en de hond niet van het terrein kon.
Kortom onze vakantie is ons goed bevallen bij Natuurhuisje “Saint Germain Les Belles”

We're faced with a fait accompli. It would have been a good idea to show us the meter on the day we arrived so that we could assess and understand our energy consumption. We don't know what the landlord's bill is based on.

Nous sommes face au fait accompli. Il aurait été convenable, le jour de l'accueil de nous montrer le compteur pour que nous puissions évaluer et connaitre notre dépense énergétique. Nous ne savons pas sur quoi repose la facture émise par le propriétaire.

We were looking for a break from our busy jobs. The owners gave us a warm welcome, but we were disappointed with the location, as the house is next to the neighbors', which didn't give us the desired sense of isolation. It's a shame, and when we booked we weren't very careful about the price. We were unpleasantly surprised to have our deposit deducted for electricity consumed during our stay (hot summer=air-conditioning running). The floor where the room was located was very hot, poorly insulated for the heat. We only turned the unit on in the evening. Electricity bill indicated by the owner: 27.93 euros for 9 days!

Nous recherchions de l'isolement pour couper avec nos métiers très éprouvants. L'accueil des propriétaires a été chaleureux mais nous avons été déçues de l'emplacement car la maison est accolée à celle des voisins ce qui ne permettait pas de ressentir l'isolement souhaité. C'est dommage.
De plus, lors de la réservation nous n'avons pas été vigilante sur la question des tarifs. Nous avons eu la désagréable surprise d'avoir un prélèvement de notre caution pour l'électricité consommée durant notre séjour (été caniculaire=fonctionnement de la climatisation). L'étage où se situe la chambre était très chaud, mal isolé pour ces fortes chaleurs. Nous allumions l'appareil le soir seulement. Facture d'électricité indiquée par le propriétaire: 27,93 euros pour 9 jours!
