Welcome to Carpe Diem: enjoy your stay in a family home renovated by its architect owner, a large, generous and very spacious building that we share as good fans of the place and its still so preserved environment. You'll find large, warm, cocooned spaces that are also well-equipped for children, including 2 living rooms. Its comfort is remarkable, because we share it in the same conditions as we live here ourselves. Regularly available to travelers for over ten years, its success has won over families. Given the peacefulness of the hamlet, Carpe Diem is indeed aimed at a family audience. Hikers and sports enthusiasts in search of wide open spaces and relaxation also curl up here. The garden is very large, and a forest garden was created here last year. A small fenced-in pond allows you to observe the amphibians in summer. Please understand that the site is not suitable for parties.

We're delighted to share CARPE DIEM! We wish you a warm welcome and a wonderful discovery of an environment... just beautiful. You're in the Moyenne Semois region, in the Vallée de la Semois National Park and in the southern part of the Parc Naturel de l'Ardenne Méridionale.Nestled in an unspoilt natural setting, the hamlet of La Cornette is a bird sanctuary, at the starting point or crossroads of many beautiful walks with panoramic views, just a stone's throw from the Semois (outside dry periods, kayaks start +- 4 km away, at Le Sati), close to Bouillon and tourist sites such as the Tombeau du Géant, the villages of Rochehaut and Poupehan (a remarkable site on a loop of the Semois), trail sites and mountain-biking events (including the Raid Godefroid course, which remains partly continuously signposted): info at the Bouillon tourist office!), as well as the Dohan, Cugnon and Herbeumont areas.
