The cottage is equipped with all the comforts and offers an ideal base for unwinding and escaping the hustle and bustle. This nature house is located on the edge of a tiny hamlet, at the start of a sandy path that leads into the woods. Your dog is welcome; the private garden is fenced in. The garden is a wonderful place to relax under the umbrella or enjoy a delicious barbecue. Next to the garden fence stands an old walnut tree; in the right season, you can gather delicious walnuts. The nature house accommodates up to four people. Bedding, bath linens, and kitchen linens are included in the price. The cottage is located 5 minutes from Pionsat, a charming village with a castle, where you’ll find a bakery, butcher, supermarket, the weekly market, and places to grab a bite to eat.

Winding rivers, picturesque villages, Romanesque churches, vast forests, hills, and (volcanic) lakes characterize this region, Le Pays des Combrailles. Water lovers will have a great time on the Sioule River or in one of the many swimming ponds in the area. It’s a wonderful place to relax; even during the busiest vacation periods, you can enjoy the peaceful French countryside and nature here. Narrow country roads winding through fields dotted with cows, volcanic peaks, and picturesque villages—it’s all here. In addition to its exceptionally beautiful natural scenery, the Auvergne also offers a wealth of culture, gastronomy, and a fascinating history. There are more than 500 Romanesque churches and about 50 castles to visit.
