Our country cottage is decorated with natural materials and can charm young and old with its timeless decor; It is part of our renovated farmhouse and can accommodate 8 and maximum 9 people. It houses 3 spacious guest rooms with private bathrooms. Upstairs there is a spacious double room with a double bed and a spacious room for 2 to 4 people with a double bed and a single cabin bed with a pull-out bed. Downstairs is a spacious room with a double bed. The beating heart is the common room with cozy sitting area and kitchen wall. There is a combi-oven, stove, dishwasher and a fridge with large freezer. Weather permitting, you can enjoy the terrace and sitting areas in our yard. In the yard you will certainly meet our friendly dogs. Young and old feel at home in our vacation home!
Nature and surroundings
Nature trumps! The vacation home is right across from the Zeebos. It leads you to the dunes and the non-touristy beach between Blankenberge and Zeebrugge, away from the crowds. A healthy walk on the beach is never far away! The entire coastline is easily accessible by bicycle, car and public transport. The streetcar takes you from Knokke to De Panne with many seaside resorts in between. Two nature reserves are not far away: De Fonteintjes in the dunes & the Uitkerkse Polders with the visitor center Groenwaecke. The nature reserve Het Zwin is also well worth a visit. Bruges is 15 km inland. Our house is located at and near three bicycle junctions. There are also several local cycling routes, such as the Ghent route, which connects Blankenberge with the typical polder villages. The beautiful coasts of Zeeland in the Netherlands as well as northern France are also worth planning a day trip. Vacation at its best!
