In the heart of the north lies our exceptionally cozy and new nature house. You will experience a rural forest feeling with peace and space all around you. The house has its own driveway and entrance. There is room for 2 persons. The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, refrigerator, stove and oven. The bathroom has a rain shower and toilet. The sleeping area on the second floor has a box-spring double bed. Furthermore, you can access your private terrace through folding doors. Also a nice place to have a drink and/or light the barbecue. The house is located on a dead-end street in the middle of a rural and wooded area in southeast Friesland. The area has several hiking and cycling routes and is ideal for those who enjoy peace and nature. The village (1.5km) has several stores, supermarket, restaurants, cafe and cafeteria. The public transport 1km. It is from here wonderful walking and cycling as in the blue forest, Bakkeveen forests, the Fochteloërveen and the Drents Friese wold around Appelscha. But also Veenhuizen is a must. Groningen and Leeuwarden can be reached by car within 40 minutes. Assen and Drachten 20 minutes.
