Nature house is located at the end of a 50 meter long path in a cul-de-sac. No traffic ever passes by. It is suitable for two (max. 4) persons. Besides a spacious entrance, it has a living space of 30m2 with sitting area, dining area and a loft where the television is. The well-equipped, open kitchen is fully equipped: induction hob, dishwasher, electric oven/grill/microwave, Nespresso coffee machine, kettle and spacious fridge/freezer. There is also a washing machine in the utility room. On the ground floor is a bedroom with a double bed with twin mattresses (90cm) and comforters, followed by a spacious bathroom with shower, bath and toilet. On the second floor is a bedroom with sink. Two folding beds can be placed there. The house has a large, enclosed garden with several terraces and an unobstructed view over the fields. The last rays of the sun can be enjoyed on the veranda by the fire in the brazier until late in the evening.
Nature and surroundings
Nature house is located at the edge of the hamlet of Rha, almost under the sails of a 19th-century bell mill, a stone's throw from the river IJssel. It is a rural location in the IJssel Valley between Achterhoek and Veluwe. There are many opportunities for walking and cycling. If you cross the IJssel by ferry at Bronkhorst or Olburgen, you reach the Veluwezoom with its heathlands, ancient forests, shifting sands and beautiful views. To the east lie the vast estates with the numerous castles of the Achterhoek. Nearby you will find the historic (Hanseatic) cities: the picturesque Doesburg (9 km) with its many art studios, museums and small stores; Bronkhorst (city rights since 1482), with 90 inhabitants the smallest city in the Netherlands; the tower city Zutphen (12 km) with its medieval city walls, numerous courtyards and atmospheric markets. You can also cycle along the river IJssel to Deventer. There is a wide selection of books and walking/cycling maps.
