Nature house in Pailharès

The owners of the cottage are incredibly friendly. You immediately feel very welcome and “at home.”
The cottage is cozy, very practical, and comfortably furnished, and it’s spotless. Everything you need—or might need—is provided. The bed is wonderful.

We hike a lot, and in that regard, you’ll be in heaven. Both in the immediate vicinity and about a half-hour drive away. Hikes of various distances, ranging from easy to challenging, with all kinds of elevation changes.

We didn’t go cycling, but we did see a lot of cyclists. This area is also ideal for cycling.

De eigenaten van het huisje zijn ontzettend vriendelijk. Je voelt je gelijk zeer welkom en "thuis".
De gîte is knus, heel praktisch en gezellig ingericht en superschoon. Alles wat je nodig hebt of zou kunnen hebben is aanwezig. Heerlijk bed.

Wij wandelen veel en wat dat betreft kan je je hart ophalen. Zowel in de directe omgeving als wanneer je met de auto een half uurtje rijdt. Wandelingen van diverse afstanden, van makkelijk tot intensief en met allerlei hoogteverschillen.

Wij hebben niet gefietst, maar wel veel fietsers gezien. Ook daar leent dit gebied zich zeer goed voor.

Du Moulin de Royer is situated in a beautiful spot. The road leading there is already very peaceful, and as you descend the final path, you find yourself in a small oasis. Surrounded by greenery and various large trees, there’s also plenty of open space thanks to the grassy area dotted with shrubs. An old little bridge spans the water, from which you can start a walk right away. Seating areas have been set up by the water, where you can enjoy the babbling water and the wind rustling through the trees. It’s a wonderful spot to sit and read or simply let your mind wander.
The gîte also has a small fenced-in garden with a lockable gate, where your dog can lie down and run around off-leash. Outside of this area, dogs must be kept on a leash on the property. As far as we’re concerned, these are clear rules that work for everyone. And in that same little garden, there’s a covered patio—a wonderful spot to start the morning with coffee and breakfast and to have dinner in the evening.

Du Moulin de Royer ligt op een prachtige plek. De weg er naartoe is al heel rustig en wanneer je afdaalt over het laatste pad, kom je in een kleine oase terecht. Groen om je heen, diverse grote bomen, maar ook ruimte door het open stuk grasland met struiken. Er loopt een oud bruggetje over het water, van waaruit je gelijk een wandeling kan starten. Aan het water zijn zitplekjes gemaakt, waar je kan genieten van het kabbelende water en de wind door de bomen. Een heerlijke plek om te zitten lezen of gewoon lekker weg te dromen.
De gîte heeft ook nog een klein omheind tuintje met afsluitbaar hek, waar de hond los kan liggen en lopen. Daarbuiten moet de hond op het terrein terecht aangelijnd. Wat ons betreft heldere en voor iedereen prettige afspraken. En in datzelfde tuintje een overdekt terras. Een hele fijne plek om de ochtend te starten met koffie en ontbijt en 's avonds te eten.

Beautiful surroundings; we went hiking and visited villages and churches. Very peaceful, with lovely spots to relax in the sun, in the shade, and by the little river Le Dardonne. Close to the central village of Saint-Félicien, with shops for groceries. Friendly gîte owners. Visited the town of Tournon on the Rhône River, and Lamastre and Desaigne.

Mooie omgeving, wandelen en dorpjes/ kerken bezocht. Heel rustig met fijne plekjes om te vertoeven in de zon, schaduw en bij het rivierstroompje Le Dardonne. Dichtbij het centrale dorp Saint Felicien met winkeltjes voor de boodschappen. Plezierige gîte eigenaren. Bezoek van de stad Tournon aan de rivier de Rhône, Lamastre en Desaigne.

Fijne sfeervolle Gite, rustgevend, praktisch ingericht, huiselijk en warmte van de houtkachel in de avond, Het zonnige terras buiten heerlijk voor het ochtend ontbijt, en koffie met uitzicht op de heuvels en ruisende beekje. Perfect ontspannend voor ons beide en onze hond.
Praktische keuken met alles wat je nodig hebt.
Schattige oude stadjes in de buurt met biologische marktjes.
We kwamen helemaal tot rust.
