Nature house in Saint Maulvis

As far as I’m concerned, it’s not worthy of “nature house” status. It has a nice backyard, and a small wooded area beyond that, but again, the road is very disruptive.
The house itself was clean and nicely decorated in a French style, but it’s definitely not suitable for 6 people—there are 6 sleeping spots, but the living room isn’t set up for 6 people.
There’s one small two-seater sofa and two chairs, plus some loose wooden chairs, but they aren’t comfortable.
The Wi-Fi is excellent.
The tableware is very limited: 6 mugs, 2 cups, a few glasses, and plenty of plates and cutlery.
The homeowner is very friendly and always available if you need anything (fortunately, we didn’t need to contact them).

Wat mij betreft is het geen natuurhuisje status waardig, leuke tuin achter plus daarachter en stukje bos maar nogmaals de weg is zeer storend.
Het huis zelf was schoon en leuk frans ingericht maar zeker niet voor 6 pers er zijn 6 slaapplaatsen maar woonkamer is niet ingericht voor 6 pers.
1 kleine 2 zitsbank en 2 stoelen, verder losse houten stoeltjes maar is niet comfortabel.
Wifi is uitstekend.
Serviesgoed is zeer krap, 6 mokken, 2 kopjes, paar glazen en veel borden en bestek.
Huiseigenaar is zeer vriendelijk en kan je altijd benaderen( gelukkig verder niet nodig gehad)

This house is located on a busy thoroughfare where the speed limit is 60 km/h, but 80 to 100 km/h is the norm.
You have to walk along that road with your dog or child until you reach a dog-walking area. (It was impossible.)

Dit huis ligt aan een drukke doorgaande weg waar 60km gereden mag worden maar 80 tot 100 km de norm is.
Aan die weg moet je lopen met hond,kind tot je bij een uitlaat gebied komt. ( was niet te doen)

One minor downside: the garden cushions were very thin, and it would have been nice to have two adjustable garden chairs given our age (there were two sun loungers and a lounge set, but they were too low, and we had trouble getting up from them).
Otherwise, everything was fine—simple but good.

1 minpuntje de tuinkussens waren heel dun en het zou fijn zijn als er 2 verstelbare tuinstoelen waren ivm onze leeftijd (er waren wel 2 ligbedden en lounge set maar dit is te laag en we hadden moeite om hier uit te komen.
Voor alles prima simpel maar goed .

A genuine old French cottage with traditional furnishings—nothing wrong with it at all.
Quiet location, cool house, and a deep, fenced-in backyard—ideal for the dog.
We went on lots of bike rides in the area, sometimes as far as 62 km.
Paul is a great host who provides plenty of information and is always available if there’s a problem.
We had a wonderful week and visited many places.

Een echt oud frans huisje met idem inboedel niks verkeerds aan.
Rustige ligging koel huis en diepe omheinde achtertuin ideaal voor de hond.
Veel gefietst in omgeving soms zo'n 62 km.
Paul is een fijne gastheer en geeft veel informatie en is altijd te bereiken als er iets is.
We hebben een fijne week gehad en veel plaatjes bezocht.

Paul is very helpful and welcoming. All communication was super smooth.The cottage is pleasant and very complete. We were with 2 adults, 2 children and a dog. Many more people I would not recommend but it can be done in theory.The outdoor space is ideal

Paul is zeer behulpzaam en gastvrij. Alle communicatie verliep super soepel.
Het huisje is aangenaam en zeer compleet. We waren met 2 volwassenen, 2 kinderen en een hond. Veel meer mensen zou ik niet aanraden maar het kan in theorie wel.
De buitenruimte is ideaal

We had quite a bit of bad luck on the way to the cottage but communication with Paul was excellent and we were able to get into the lovely cottage just later than planned. It was clean, very complete and we had very nice days there.

We hadden nogal wat pech onderweg naar het huisje maar de communicatie met Paul was uitstekend en we konden gewoon later dan gepland terecht in het heerlijke huisje.
Het was schoon, heel compleet en we hebben er erg fijne dagen gehad.
