A short stretch of dirt road that seems to end in nothing and then... there it is. Behind a huge, ancient oak that seems to play the role of guardian, appears an old stone farmhouse, nestling among tall cypresses. Inside, the windows are transformed into picture frames: olive, fig, cherry trees, meadows dotted with thousands of colours and, on the horizon, the sweetness of the Apennine hills. In addition to our own apartment there are just two others, both with a private entrance. Each apartment is furnished as if it were our own home, with a style that combines the typical features of Tuscan country houses with elements that evoke other places, other times, other journeys... This is the smaller of the two apartments, but can comfortably accommodate 4 people. It is approximately 50 sqm and includes a large living room with a very comfortable sofa bed and kitchen area (fully equipped with all the utilities you need for cooking), a double bedroom, and a spacious bathroom with shower.
Nature and surroundings
This nature house is situated on a hill, about 6 km from the medieval village of Anghiari. It can be reached along a winding road that runs among cypress, oak, holm oak, olive trees and cultivated fields that change colour from season to season. Our surrounding land, 4.5 hectares, is partly wooded and partly cultivated with olive and fruit trees. The location is unique: Anghiari, considered one of "the most beautiful villages in Italy", is located in the corner of Tuscany that borders with Umbria and Marche. Places to visit are numerous: cities of art just a few kilometres away, museums and churches with rich heritages, small medieval villages, pathways that wind through castles, natural parks and woods. But, if you prefer tranquillity,the silence around our house is absolute.

The cottage is fully equipped, looks and is well maintained, and the owners, Sandra and Luciano, are very friendly and helpful.

De eigenaren, Sandra en Luciano, zijn zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam.The cottage is detached and in a particularly quiet location. The view from the garden is fantastic. Walking from the cottage is possible but keep in mind there are steep hills. Also plenty of interesting towns/villages to visit at 20-30 min by car.
Het huisje is vrijstaand en ligt op een bijzonder rustige locatie. Het uitzicht vanuit de tuin is fantastisch. Wandelen vanuit het huisje is mogelijk maar houdt wel rekening met steile hellingen. Ook voldoende interessante steden/dorpjes te bezoeken op 20 tot 30 min met de auto.
