The apartment is the front part of our houseboat, with no upper floor. It has a terrace on the levee side. Is completely self-sufficient. The ark is in sheltered water and therefore does not move.
Nature and surroundings
The Ark is located in a strang, tributary of the river Waal. Quiet water with on the other side sometimes wild horses, cattle or sheep. Water birds of all kinds and even the occasional beaver can be spotted. The water level can vary about 10 meters and at high tide gives an unobstructed view of the Waal. The land of Maas and Waal is of course a beautiful cycling area.
