Lovely little cabin to unwind, or stay overnight during your walk on the Pieterpad or the Walk of Wisdom. Shower and toilet you will find in our main building 25 meters away from your cabin, (shared with two other cottages). There is a fast WiFi connection in the main building, good 4/5G reception in the cabins, 6 power outlets and lighting. Bed linen and towels are included. Breakfast can be optionally booked for €15,- p.p. In front of the cottages is a nice lawn, where you can do a sun salutation in the morning, or just relax on your back in the grass breaking the clouds;-)
Nature and surroundings
From our cabins you walk straight into the primeval forest Nederrijkswald, where deer, foxes, boars and badgers live. The view is un-Dutch, it is also called the Tuscany of the Netherlands. From your veranda you first look out over our own pumpkin fields, behind them the cows of the neighbor walk in the rolling landscape and behind them the hills in "the backyard" of Nijmegen. The municipal name Berg and Dal is fully applicable here! So here we are in the middle of the famous Seven Hills Road, over which the Nijmegen Four Day Marches and the Seven Hills Run pass. So rightfully the Balcony of Groesbeek!
