Come spend the night in a real Indian teepee on a desert island. The teepee is attractively decorated with colorful rugs and pillows. Upon arrival, the beds with excellent mattresses are already made. Light a fire in the teepee and make it nice and warm and cozy. The smoke from the fire rises outside by opening the special smoke flaps. Watch the starry sky from your bed. Living in a tipi around a central point (the fire pit), gives a very special, secure feeling. Every child loves to sleep in a real Indian tipi! The tipi is fully equipped for 6 people with cabinets, a table, a stove, cooler, cooking supplies, eating utensils, fire pit and wood. At each teepee there is a picnic table and a hammock hanging.

Island de Kluut is located in the middle of the Veluwemeer, near Harderwijk. The island is about four acres and lushly covered with tall trees, dense shrubbery, reed palms with large clearings of sand or grass here and there. You are brought to the island by boat in 10 minutes. There you immediately imagine yourself in a totally different world without cars or bicycles. Here you can enjoy the peace, nature, birds, clean swimming water and the fantastic view over the Veluwemeer. On the island are 15 tents very spaciously set up. There is a large tent with high tables and a group kitchen for general use. In the Tipi Lounge you can sit around a cozy fire and roast marshmellows over the fire. There is an excellent restroom on the island and also power to charge mobile devices. Our ferry sails four times a day to Flevoland, from where you can take all kinds of trips.
