Experience the Magic of a Mongolian Yurt on Island The Kluut Experience the magic of a night in a Mongolian yurt on Island The Kluut. The yurt offers a cozy atmosphere and is comfortable in all seasons. Enjoy luxury and coziness with a skylight showing the stars at night, ornate buttresses and a crackling wood fire. The yurt is fully equipped with made beds, a stove, lockers, a table with chairs, a cooler, a gas stove and cooking utensils. Outside you can relax in a hammock, surrounded by reeds and bushes for added privacy. There is also a picnic table near the yurt. Please note that the price includes parking, ferry to and from the island as often as you like, wood to fire and showers. Come and experience the magic of a yurt on Island De Kluut!
Nature and surroundings
Island De Kluut is located in the Veluwe Lake near Harderwijk and is four acres with lush natural surroundings. You will be taken to the island by boat in 10 minutes. There you will immediately imagine yourself in a completely different world without cars or bicycles and you can enjoy nature, birdsong, clean swimming water and beautiful views. The island offers thirteen generously sized tents for a comfortable overnight stay. There is a large tent with high tables and kitchen for everyone to use. In the Tipi Lounge you can sit around a cozy fire, play games and roast marshmellows over the fire. The island has a restroom building with hot showers, sinks and toilets, plus refrigerators and power outlets. The ferry sails to Flevoland four times a day, perfect for excursions. Island De Kluut offers an unforgettable vacation on Veluwemeer Lake.
