Nature house in Tortezais

Of the splash pool we did not use. Despite the fact that the road where the cottage is located you can drive at least 80 km, there is hardly any traffic. Max average of 3 per day/night. The cottage was fine for us.

Van het plonsbadje hebben we geen gebruik gemaakt. Het weer liet het niet toe.
Ondanks dat de weg waar het huisje staat je minstens 80 km mag rijden, is er amper verkeer. Max gemiddeld 3 per dag/nacht.
Het huisje was voor ons dik in orde.

An incredibly quiet and beautiful area with a panoramic view.The cottage is cozy.Unfortunately we could not use the 2nd bedroom as it was locked.My husband and I always rent a cottage with at least 2 bedrooms so we can also sleep separately due to heavy snoring......

Een ongelooflijk rustig en mooie omgeving met een panoramisch uitzicht.
Het huisje is gezellig ingericht.
Helaas konden wij geen gebruik maken van de 2de slaapkamer, want die was op slot.
Mijn man en ik huren altijd een huisje met minstens 2 slaapkamers zodat wij ook apart kunnen slapen wegens hevig gesnurk......

Beautiful location, nicely decorated house, good bed, nice shower, spacious bathroom, nice porch and spacious fenced area. Nice that there were fans! But what was very annoying: the cottage smelled strongly of moisture and therefore musty. There was also often a sewer smell in the bathroom and on the porch. There were loose kit edges and an open drain that stank. This unfortunately detracted greatly from our vacation feeling. Upon returning home, our laundry had to be washed twice to get the musty smell out. There is a round "swimming" pool (more like a plunge pool) to cool off, but due to algae deposits and rust on the stairs, we did not use it. The kitchen has overdue maintenance. Among other things, the tap is loose and there are 'dirty corners'. It does have a nice stove, but the knobs are worn off so the operation was sometimes guessing. The corners had not been cleaned. The washing machine is in a spider shed, which you have to bend down to reach. We chose this cottage because of the good reviews, but unfortunately it was very disappointing.

Mooie locatie, leuk ingericht huis, goed bed, fijne douche, ruime badkamer, mooie veranda en ruim omheind terrein. Fijn dat er ventilatoren waren!

Maar wat erg vervelend was: het huisje rook sterk naar vocht en dus muf. Ook hing er vaak een rioollucht in de badkamer en op de veranda. Er waren losse kitranden en een open afvoer die stonk. Dit deed helaas veel afbreuk aan ons vakantiegevoel. Bij thuiskomst moest ons wasgoed twee keer gewassen worden om de muffe geur eruit te krijgen.

Er is een rond ‘zwem’bad (meer dompelbad) om af te koelen, maar door algaanslag en roest op de trap hebben we er geen gebruik van gemaakt.

De keuken heeft achterstallig onderhoud. O.a. de kraan zit los en er zijn ‘vieze hoekjes’. Wel een mooi fornuis, maar de knoppen zijn afgesleten zodat de werking soms gokken was.

In de hoeken was niet schoongemaakt. De wasmachine staat in een spinnenschuurtje, waar je bukkend bij moet.

We kozen dit huisje vanwege de goede reviews, maar het viel helaas erg tegen.

Nice place, beautiful view. Very quiet and peaceful, except for the cars that drove by quite loudly but that was not very disturbing. Surroundings of meadows and farms, slightly sloping.

Fijne plek, prachtig uitzicht. Heel stil en rustig, behalve de auto’s die vrij hard langsreden maar dat was niet heel storend. Omgeving van weilanden en boerderijen, licht glooiend.

Unfortunately a lot of trouble from ants etc., which came up from some unsealed / jointed holes in the floor. Had to use a lot of poison with risk to our dog.

Helaas veel last van mieren etc., die uit enkele niet dichtgesmeerde / gevoegde gaten in de vloer omhoog kwamen. Veel gif moeten gebruiken met risico voor onze hond.

A great location and view. Too bad about the road in front of the cottage. This was regularly used as a " race track ".

Een geweldige locatie en uitzicht. Jammer van de weg voor het huisje. Dit werd regelmatig als " racebaan " gebruikt.
