This nature house is an old—but now fully renovated—farmhouse, located about eight kilometers from the medieval town of Belvès in the hamlet of Doissat. Our house is 250 years old and sits on 10,000 square meters of land near Doissat, the capital of the French walnut-growing region in the Dordogne. Lortal is a traditional Dordogne farmhouse that has been renovated to combine character and comfort, with views from the terraces and pool area. Lortal has 4 bedrooms, 3 of which have built-in air conditioning, and 3 bathrooms. It features a 10x4 private pool. Petite Lortal is situated in a quiet, shaded corner of the property, about 100 meters from the main house. It has been recently renovated and is a completely detached vacation home for two adults. The compactly furnished cottage features a pleasant, private garden and everything you need: a modern kitchen and bathroom, a well-equipped living room, and a bedroom with a large double bed. Lortal is a 4-star accommodation.
Nature and surroundings
Our vacation home is located in southwestern France in the beautiful Dordogne Valley (Périgord Noir), within the famous “Golden Triangle” of Sarlat, Domme, and Bergerac, making it a wonderful base for a memorable vacation. Anyone planning to explore the culinary and other delights of the Périgord on foot, on horseback, by bike, by canoe, or by car will find this the ideal base. Those who enjoy fishing or golf will also find plenty to keep them happy here.
