The charming house has a living room/kitchen with wood stove. The hallway leads to two bedrooms and the bathroom with toilet, sink and shower. Bedroom 1 has a spacious double bed. Bedroom 2 has two separate beds. The attic is for your own use. Outside is a spacious south-facing terrace overlooking a field and woods. Under the canopy is a long table, outdoor fireplace, pizza (wood oven) and an outdoor shower with hot water. All basic amenities are provided such as sunbeds and bbq. On the east side is a veranda where you can enjoy breakfast with the rising sun. There is no WiFi (yet), but mobile internet via 3G and 4G works well (fiberglass is being built '24). The house is a farmhouse that stands next to the large cow barn. The animals are no longer there but the space, and nature are.

Through the driveway of about 300 meters you get to the house. It stands between fields and forests where you can walk (also VVV routes). Nature is beautiful and you regularly see eg roe deer and beautiful birds. Peace and space are the key words. The house is located in Lot-et-Garonne on the border with the Dordogne between two villages (Villereal - Castillonnès) where there is much to do. Stores, restaurants. Nearby are castles (Château de Biron), climbing forests, swimming lake with beach and playground and catering, outdoor pool, markets with local fruits and vegetables and in the summer evenings village festivals with long tables to eat. Brocante markets (vide grenier) and medieval village festivals. All within reasonable distances. Bournel is 20 minutes from the city of Bergerac (Dordogne) which also has an airport (Rotterdam - Bergerac - Transavia) and a train station. Ask for the pdf with all the addresses and tips.
