Nature house in The HayShed

We had a wonderful week in Annascaul and were able to fully enjoy the peace and quiet and the surroundings. Our host, Catriona, gave us lots of great tips and welcomed us with delicious treats and plenty of informational materials.

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Woche in Annascaul und konnten die Ruhe und die Umgebung voll genießen. Die Gastgeberin Catriona gab uns viele gute Tipps und empfing uns mit leckeren Kleinigkeiten und jede Menge Informationsmaterial.

A beautifully furnished little cottage with all the comforts—it really has everything you could want. We even got to play the piano.

Wunderschön eingerichtetes Häuschen mit allem Komfort, es fehlt wirklich an gar nichts. Sogar das Klavier kam zum Einsatz

Peace and hospitality. Only the sound of mewling lambs and otherwise total peace. A cottage with a personal touch and many books about the area and Ireland. You walk behind the cottage right into the mountains. A nice central point to discover the area of Dingle and Kerry.

Rust en gastvrijheid. Alleen het geluid van mekkerende lammetjes en verder totale rust. Een huisje met een persoonlijke tint en veel boeken over de omgeving en Ierland. Je loopt achter het huisje zo de bergen in. Een mooi centraal gelegen punt om de omgeving van Dingle en Kerry te ontdekken.

Felt welcome in this area. Made beautiful trips on my Moto Guzzi California, which by the way attracted a lot of interest from locals. At least I had plenty of conversation. I skipped the pubs because I was propelling myself by motorcycle on roads where attention must be in the highest position. Getting used to driving on the left is definitely a thing. The Wild atlantic way is not rid of me yet in this life, neither is this nature house, hope to go there again next time with my partner. So far. Bye

Voelde me welkom in deze omgeving. Prachtige tochten gemaakt met mijn Moto Guzzi California, die trouwens veel belangstelling trok van lokale bevolking. Ik had in ieder geval aanspraak genoeg. De pubs heb ik overgeslagen omdat ik me met de motor voortbewoog op wegen waarbij de aandacht in de hoogste stand moet. Wennen met links rijden is zeker een dingetje.
De Wild atlantic way is in dit leven nog niet van me af, ook dit natuurhuisje niet, hoop er de volgende keer weer terecht te kunnen met mijn partner. Tot zover. Bye

A beautiful and peaceful place. Huge amount of privacy. On the spacious grounds the owners also live. Very accessible if needed. I sometimes felt like staying in an Irish fairy tale book. Atmospheric, secure with a touch of mystery. On arrival I was warmly welcomed by the owner and she showed me around. The water comes from our own well and is soft and delicious. Kitchen is well equipped as well as the bath and bedroom.Living room is very cozy, there is a piano fine sofa and good TV.I used this house as a base for my motorcycle tour along parts of the wild atlantic way.Recommended

Een mooie en rustgevende plek. Enorm veel privacy. Op het ruime terrein wonen de eigenaars ook. Zeer bereikbaar als dat nodig is. Ik voelde me soms als verbleef ik in een Iers sprookjesboek. Sfeervol, geborgen met een vleug mysterie. Bij aankomst hartelijk ontvangen door eigenares en zij leidde me rond. Het water komt uit eigen bron en is zacht en heerlijk. Keuken is goed uitgerust evenals de bad en slaapkamer.
Woonkamer is heel gezellig ingericht, er staat een piano fijne bank en prima TV.
Ik gebruikte dit huis als uitvalsbasis voormijn motortour langs delen van de wild atlantic way.
