The vacation apartment is quietly and separately located on the edge of the village in Schafwinkel. It is located in the side part of an old 2-stall barn and was newly built in 2020 - with organic building materials, equipped with solid wooden furniture. A small conservatory invites you to enjoy a sunny breakfast. Two new heat pumps have been installed for heating and cooling. The kitchen is well equipped, even with a dishwasher. The double bed in the bedroom measures 1.60 x 2.00 meters. The bed linen is made of cotton. There is also a sofa bed in the living room. Arno August 11, 2025 General rating:Very nice and very clean cottage with a dear owner, whom we only saw on arrival.Furnishing is very complete. Good bed, good shower, dishwasher, electric oven, air conditioning.... Opposite a meadow with Scottish Highlanders, always fun to watch. Across the street are horses and donkeys, animals enough. Lots of peace and quiet and on the outskirts of a village where there is really nothing to do .... Just keep in mind that: - animals also means flies ... - we found the herb garden a bit too overgrown and not really recognizable as such. All in all, as far as we are concerned, highly recommended! Definitely do it!
Erg leuk en zeer schoon huisje met een schat van een eigenaar, die we alleen bij aankomst gezien hebben.
Inrichting is zeer compleet. Prima bed, goede douche.
Vaatwasser, elec. oven, airco... alles is er gewoon.
Ligt tegenover een weiland met Schotse hooglanders, altijd leuk om naar te kijken. Aan de overkant van de straat staan paarden en ezels, dieren genoeg.
Veel rust en aan de rand van een dorpje waar werkelijk niks te beleven is... heerlijk!
Wel even rekening houden met:
- dieren betekent ook vliegen...
- we vonden de kruidentuin wat al te overwoekerd en eigenlijk niet meer als zodanig herkenbaar.
