Nature house in Artignosc-sur-Verdon

The very neat detached house is spacious, comfortable and fully equipped. In the garden around the house you will find several seating areas so you can seek shade (or sun) at any time of day. The well maintained and spacious pool gives you coolness on summer days. The contact with both the helpful owner Pim and the modest and friendly lady on site is very pleasant and clear. Het zeer nette vrijstaande vakantiehuis is ruim, comfortabel en van alle gemakken voorzien. In de tuin rondom het huis vind je diverse zitjes waardoor je op ieder moment van de dag de schaduw (of de zon) kunt opzoeken. Het goed onderhouden en ruime zwembad geeft je verkoeling op zomerse dagen. Het contact met zowel de behulpzame eigenaar Pim als met de bescheiden en vriendelijke dame ter plaatse is zeer prettig en duidelijk.

Nature, peace and quiet is what you will certainly find in this fantastic place! From the beautiful spacious garden with great views, we enjoyed in peace and quiet the soaring griffon vultures, the hunting black kites, seeing and hearing the beautiful hoopoe, the golden oriole and the red-backed shrike. And at dusk the roe deer, pygmy owls and wall geckos also showed themselves. There was also plenty of beauty to discover in the surrounding area. The Gorges du Verdon with its breathtaking views, Lac de Sainte Croix with its special turquoise color and the flowering and fragrant lavender fields are some examples of this. So this area is a real treat for every nature lover!

Natuur, rust en ruimte is wat je zeker vindt op deze fantastische plek!
Vanuit de prachtige ruime tuin met geweldig uitzicht genoten wij in alle rust van o.a. de overzwevende vale gieren, de jagende zwarte wouwen, het zien en horen van de mooie hop, de wielewaal en de grauwe klauwier. En tegen de schemering lieten ook de reetjes, dwergooruilen en muurgekko’s zich zien.

Ook in de nabije omgeving viel er genoeg moois te ontdekken. De Gorges du Verdon met zijn adembenemende uitzichten, Lac de Sainte Croix met zijn bijzondere turquoise kleur en de bloeiende en heerlijk geurende lavendelvelden zijn hier enkele voorbeelden van.

Dit gebied is dus een waar feestje voor iedere natuurliefhebber!

Very good care and communication from the host Pim. Also great help from a local couple! Lots of sleeping places, we had to search a bit for the 'master bedroom' which was hidden wn with all the shutters closed it is really good dark inside. Lots of closet space and good bed! Nice bathroom and updated toilet downstairs. Great kitchen, cooked a lot and everything present (except grater at least not found). Fine bjjkeuken where good (small) oven and microwave. We noticed that 2 burners on the stove were difficult to turn on but we "worked around" that. Nice space fridge also for weekboodschapoen! The conservatory with dining table has a beautiful view! Good internet, we have also partly worked while the children went their gang gang in the garden / pool. When we arrived it was about 15graden in the house but with the wood stove fairly quickly warm. The garden has several seating areas to always find a nice (eating) place.

Zeer goede zorgen en communicatie vanuit de host Pim. Ook de hulp van een lokaal echtpaar prima! Veel slaapplekken, we moesten even zoeken naar de ‘master bedroom’ die lag verstopt wn met alle luiken dicht is het echt goed donker binnen. Veel kastruimte en goed bed!

Fijne badkamer en vernieuwde wc beneden. Prima keuken, veel gekookt en alles aanwezig (op rasp na althans niet gevonden). Fijne bjjkeuken waar goede (kleine) oven en magnetron zijn. We merkten dat 2 pitten op het fornuis lastig aangingen maar daar hebben we ‘omheen gewerkt’. Fijne ruimte koelkast ook voor weekboodschapoen!

De serre met eettafel heeft een prachtig uitzicht!

Goed internet, we hebben ook deels gewerkt terwijl de kinderen lekker hun gang gingenn in de tuin/zwembad.

Toen we aankwamen was het ong 15graden in huis maar met de houtkachel redelijk snel warm. De woonkamer is erg hoog waardoor veel warmte eerst naar boven trekt.

De tuin heeft meerdere zitjes om altijd een lekkere (eet)plek te vinden

We were here in early May vacation (April 18 to May 2). You notice that this is still really pre-season. The whole area was super quiet. On the road, parking lots, (limited) charging stations, activities. Wonderfully relaxed! You notice this also in restaurants, many still closed but for us no problem We hoped for weather for the pool and that we got! Lots of sun and felt like summer without the lame heat. The house has a beautiful panoramic view on the outskirts of the village and a spacious garden to play in. The only sound we heard at night was from a Dwarf Owl. It is a beautiful area near the largest canyon in Europe. Beautiful canoeing, hiking, mountain biking, visiting picturesque villages and markets. The famous lavender fields are not there yet in this period, but even then it is more than worth it to visit the region!

We zaten hier in vroege meivakantie (18 april t/m 2 mei). Je merkt dat dit nog echt voorseizoen is. In het hele gebied was het super rustig. Op de weg, parkeerplaatsen, (beperkte) laadpalen, activiteiten. Heerlijk ontspannen dus! Dit merk je wel ook in horeca, veel nog dicht maar voor ons geen probleem geweest

We hoopten op weer voor het zwembad en dat kregen we! Veel zon en voelde als zomers zonder de lamlendige hitte. S’avonds wel afkoeling dus aantal keer de houtkachel aangehad.

Het huis heeft een prachtig weids uitzicht aan de rand van het dorp en een ruime tuin om in te spelen. Het enige geluid dat we ‘s avonds hoorden kwam van een Dwergooruil.

Het is een prachtige omgeving bij de grootste canyon van Europa. Mooi kanoën, wandelen, mountainbiken, pittoreske dorpjes bekijken en marktjes bezoeken.

De bekende lavendelvelden zijn er nog niet in deze periode, maar zelfs dan meer dan de moeite waard om de regio te bezoeken!

We were here with our motorcycles to be able to ride "corners" without all the vacation traffic on all the small roads. We know the area and came for that.

Wij waren hier met onze motoren om nu een keer lekker “ bochtjes” te kunnen rijden zonder al het vakantie verkeer op alle kleine weggetjes. Wij kennen de omgeving en kwamen daarvoor.

Beautiful surroundings, both the immediate location of the house as well as the immediate area culminating in the gorges du verdon with lac saint croix. In this period quiet in contrast to the high season and still fine temperature of over 20C. Fine, cozy, well equipped house with a helpful owner who arranged everything well. Great week, definitely worth repeating.

Prachtige omgeving, zowel de directe ligging van het huis als ook de directe omgeving met als hoogtepunt de gorges du verdon met lac saint croix. In deze periode heerlijk rustig in tegenstelling tot het hoogseizoen en nog fijne temperatuur van ruim 20C.
Fijn, gezellig, goed uitgerust huis met een behulpzame eigenaar die alles goed geregeld heeft. Prima week gehad, zeker voor herhaling vatbaar.
