Nature house in Sluis

A beautifully renovated home in line with the latest trends, and the kitchen is fully equipped! It features a combination microwave-oven, a dishwasher, a large fridge-freezer, and more than enough plates, cutlery, etc. The Nespresso machine leaks a little, so place some paper towels underneath it. We’ve seen the feedback from others about the upstairs bathroom: window coverings would be very nice for privacy. Hand soap and a guestbook would also be appreciated. Be careful on all the steps and thresholds. The internet is pretty slow; you’re better off using your own 5G. We had the window open one evening (in the double room upstairs) with the lights off, but that was enough to fill the room with mosquitoes. It seems like it would be tough staying here in the middle of summer. Communication with Philippe, the owner, is great! I definitely recommend this cottage!

Mooi gerenoveerde woning volgens de laatste tends en de keuken is voorzien van alle gemakken! Een combi-magnetron-oven, vaatwasser, grote koel-vries-kast, meer dan voldoende borden, bestek, etc. Het Nespresso-apparaat lekt een beetje, dus zet er wat keukenpapier onder. We herkennen de feedback van anderen over de badkamer boven: raamdecoratie zou voor privacy heel prettig zijn. Als ook handzeep en gastenboek zouden fijn zijn. Let op alle op- en afstapjes. Internet is wel traag, je kan beter op je eigen 5G. We hadden 1 avond het raam open (2persoons kamer boven) met de lampen uit, maar dat was voldoende voor een kamer vol muggen. Lijkt me pittig wanneer je hier midden in de zomer zit. Communicatie met Philippe de eigenaar is top! Huisje is zeker aan te raden!

Je zit in The middle of nowhere tussen de koeien!

A very spacious home. Even when all the bedrooms are occupied, you're sure to find a quiet corner to relax.

Heel ruime woning. Zelfs als al de slaapkamers in gebruik zijn, vind je zeker een hoekje om tot rust te komen.

Beautifully situated among the fields and friendly farmers.

Prachtig gelegen tussen de velden en vriendelijke landbouwers.

To complete the house please have a curtain on the upper bathroom. From the street and across the street one can see you naked when you come out of the shower. This is definitely not a nice feeling. In the bathroom also like a rack to hang the towels. In the kitchen we would have liked a regular coffee maker and a thermos to keep the coffee hot. The nespresso machine did not always work very well. In the bedrooms a cabinet or shelves to put your clothes on and possibly a coat rack to hang your clothes, now everything had to stay in the suitcase. With these small interventions you make the vacation home complete.

Om het huis te vervolledigen graag een gordijn op de bovenste badkamer. Vanaf de straat en de overkant kan men je naakt zien staan als je uit de douche komt. Dit is absoluut geen fijn gevoel. In de badkamer graag ook een rekje om de handdoeken op te hangen.
In de keuken hadden we graag een gewone koffiezet gezien en een thermoskan om de koffie warm te houden. Het nespresso machine werkte niet altijd even goed.
Op de slaapkamers een kastje of schabben om je kleren op te leggen en eventueel een kapstok om je kleren aan te hangen, nu moest alles in de valies blijven liggen.
Met deze kleine ingrepen maak je het vakantiehuis compleet.

Nice big house in a quiet area, lots of space and enough material available. We had a wonderful vacation, nevertheless we have some observations. We were there during the coldest period and it took more than 24 hours before the house was fully warmed up. Perhaps in the morning before arrival we could set the heating to 22° so it would be more comfortable and warmer during the first days.

Mooi groot huis in een rustige omgeving, veel ruimte en voldoende materiaal aanwezig. We hebben een heerlijke vakantie gehad.
Toch hebben we enkele bemerkingen. Wij waren daar tijdens de koudste periode en het heeft meer dan 24 uur gekost alvorens het huis volledig was opgewarmd. Misschien 's morgens voor aankomst toch al wel de verwarming op 22° zetten zodat het wat aangenamer en warmer is tijdens de eerste dagen.
