the west apartment in my artistically designed house le quinquerlet has more than 50 m2 and is on the ground floor (stone floor) in the main room there is a kitchen, sofa, dining table and behind a paravant a double bed (140x200). this room can be heated with wood (insert fireplace), which is sometimes necessary until the beginning of may. in the bathroom and in the small bedroom (bed 120x200) there are electric radiators. in the entrance area is a narrow bed (70x200), emergency bed for a fourth person (on request). in the private outdoor area (80m2) there is a dining table and sun loungers in the summer. you can also use the rest of the garden. on top of the house there is a large sun terrace. in the upper garden there is a former pool that has been converted into a frog pond. laundry can be washed and dried in the buanderie on request. there is also ample opportunity to hang up the laundry to dry. we speak three languages fluently: german, english and french
Nature and surroundings
ocher cliffs, vineyards, luberon natural park, picturesque villages and towns, the château des marquis de sade in lacoste, the abbaye de senanque, the trou d'eau of gargas, weekly markets, flea markets, antique markets... of course lavender fields everywhere, olive groves and on the plateau of the montagne de vaucluse also juniper landscape similar to the swabian alb. aix en provence or avignon are an hour's drive away, while it takes a little longer in marseille or in the camargue. you can cycle here, e.g. to mont ventoux and back (140km), climbing in buoux or on the pont julien between apt and bonnieux. if you like water and antiques, go to isle sur la sorgue and if you like medieval town centres, visit carpentras.
