In the outskirts of Winterswijk you will find the Nature House. This beautiful old farmhouse originates from 1748. The front house was recently refurbished and transformed into an attractive vacation home. The vacation home is equipped with all modern conveniences. The house has a spacious living room with modern kitchen including dishwasher, microwave oven, fridge freezer, coffee maker and kettle. The house also has a spacious sitting area with a fireplace where you can completely unwind. On the ground floor there are two spacious bedrooms with double divan beds in each room. Each bedroom has its own bathroom with walk-in shower, sink and a toilet. The house has a beautiful, spacious garden with a covered terrace. This way you can enjoy the beautiful outdoors in Kotten during all seasons.
Nature and surroundings
The nature house is located in the middle of the outskirts of Winterswijk in the hamlet of Kotten. Adjacent to the house you will find beautiful hiking and cycling routes that take you through the beautiful surroundings and nature reserves that Winterswijk has to offer. For example, 3 km away is the nature reserve of the Borkense baan. An area where the former railroad line between Winterswijk and Borken was located, definitely worth a visit! Besides the hamlet of Kotten, Winterswijk has another 8 different hamlets where many beautiful moors and numerous estates with authentic Scholten farms can be found.
