Our Tiny house, a special experience in the Hunsrück Forest. The cottage has a sleeping loft with a double bed, a sitting area (cq sofa bed), a small kitchen with refrigerator and 2burner stove.Toilet and simple camping shower (without heating) are 50mtr walking distance. The cottage is on a private field in the middle of the forest. There is also a Hot Tub which you can use. The cottage is not accessible by car. It is possible on arrival that we pack (please do not bring too much stuff!) With a golf cart to the cottage. We will tell you how to get to the cottage via the footpath (approx. 15 min). The car can then be left safely at a pre-arranged address. PS: Nude recreation is not allowed.
Nature and surroundings
The cottage is in the middle of the forest, and a 50 min walk away is Germany's most beautiful Hängeseilbrücke, or Geierlay suspension bridge. So if you have nerves of wire steel then this is the challenge! The famous Saar-Hunsrück-Steig is easily accessible from the Fettsmühle (Stage 19), it is a beautiful hiking area here.

Great cottage and Janet and Paul are fantastic people. We immediately felt at ease and totally relaxed. From warming up in the hot tub to cooling off in the creek, it's all possible.
Beautiful surroundings and complete tranquility. You are in the middle of a lovely valley surrounded by trees. If you have the windows open you can hear the stream babbling and if you are lucky you can see the tawny owl in the ridge of the barn!

Truly all utilities you could wish for were around, with a little kitchen inside as well. Super friendly host who is very eager to help or answer questions whenever needed.
Wonderful house with hot tub nearby a river. Great place to disconnect from life, no internet, no traffic or other sounds, just nature. The owners also have some animals around, which is very pleasant and a fun addition to your day.

A beautiful environment! Here you will find the peace and quiet that you can no longer experience in urban and often rural surroundings. The owners' farm borders the area, although there is a buffer zone, so to speak, which is inhabited by geese and ducks and in which there is a very cosy, semi-open hut with a barbecue. You shouldn't expect any luxury here. The Tiny House is self-built, you have to change the 20L tank of the sink regularly (the full tank is always provided) and unfortunately there is no hot shower. As Paul, the owner, explained to me, this is due to bureaucratic hurdles. He had probably already installed a heated shower, but it was run through with stream water. Unfortunately, German bureaucracy demands drinking water quality. For my partner and I, that was already a deficit for the planned 4 days. But after just one day, I'm longing to get back there.
Man darf hier keinen Luxus erwarten. This text is automatically translated.
