Nature house in Mörsdorf

Fine cottage in very nice place.

Prima huisje op erg mooie plek.

Nice reception and ride through the forest in the army jeep. Lots of space and quiet around the cottage. A rushing stream, birds singing and a beautiful starry sky. The cottage is simply furnished, everything you need is there. Nice walks in the area. Sat in a steaming hot tub in the evening.

Leuke ontvangst en rit door het bos in de legerjeep. Veel ruimte en rust om het huisje heen. Een ruisende beek, fluitende vogeltjes en een prachtige sterrenhemel.
Het huisje is eenvoudig ingericht, alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig. Mooi gewandeld in de omgeving. 's Avonds in een stomende hottub gezeten.

The area around the Tiny House and the facilities (WC, shower) are clean and homely. You feel welcome as soon as you arrive. As we were there at the end of September and in a rainy week, we still had pleasant temperatures inside with a gas stove. This was also thanks to the good insulation of the cottage. It also has a well-equipped small kitchen. Overall, our stay was very relaxed and quiet, just as we had hoped. The surrounding nature is also very beautiful for hiking. It was also reassuring to know that Janet and Paul are very nice and were not far away should we have needed help with anything. A couple of points that might be relevant for hotel holidaymakers: We did not have a hot shower during our stay. We had also booked the hot tub. This is heated with a wood-burning stove and has no jets. It would have been great in midsummer, but perhaps only for the brave in autumn weather.

Die Fläche um das Tiny House und die Anlagen (WC, Dusche) sind sauber und heimelig dekoriert. Man fühlt sich direkt willkommen bei der Anreise. Da wir Ende September und in einer regnerischen Woche da waren, haben wir mit einem Gasofen trotzdem angenehme Temperaturen drinnen gehabt. Das auch Dank guter Isolierung vom Häuschen. Es hat zudem eine gut ausgestattete kleine Küche. Der Aufenthalt war insgesamt sehr entspannt und ruhig wie wir es uns erhofft haben. Die Natur drum rum ist auch sehr schön zum Wandern. Es war außerdem beruhigend zu wissen, dass Janet und Paul sehr nett sind und nicht weit waren, hätten wir Hilfe mit etwas benötigt.

Ein paar Punkte, die relevant für Hotelurlauber sein könnten: Wir hatten während unserem Aufenthalt keine warme Dusche. Wir hatten zudem den Whirlpool mitgebucht. Dieser wird mit einem Holzofen geheizt und besitzt keine Düsen. Im Hochsommer wäre er super gewesen, bei Herbstwetter evtl. nur für Mutige.

The cottage is located in a quiet piece of forest. You can easily escape the usual noise of a city. The only background noise was a babbling brook running directly alongside the property and the occasional cackling of geese and ducks. The cottage is muffled well enough and a meadow away from the animals, so it wasn't disturbing. Even in heavy rain we had peace and quiet in the evenings.

Das Häuschen ist in einem ruhigen Stück Wald gelegen. Man kann sich gut dem gewohnten Lärm einer Stadt entziehen. Was es an Geräuschkulisse gab, war ein plätschernder Bach, der direkt am Grundstück entlang läuft und ab und zu das Schnattern von Gänsen und Enten. Das Häuschen ist gut genug gedämpft und eine Wiese weiter von den Tieren, sodass das nicht störend war. Auch bei starkem Regen hatten wir Abends unsere Ruhe.

prachtig huisje, midden in de natuur, met hele mooie details, met zorg en liefde zelf gebouwd en mooi gemaakt. Echt genieten! een plek om naar terug te gaan en de natuur in de omgeving is ook heel fijn.
