On the foundations of the old water mill of Piana Crixia (anno 1750) arose this fully restored and luxurious vacation home. With a lovely large garden on its own private part of the estate surrounded by streams and overlooking the fields and hills surrounded by fragrant flower and herb borders with only sounds of nature, Il Mulino is the perfect place for lovers of nature, silence, space and peace.
Nature and surroundings
This nature house is located in the outskirts of Piana Crixia and borders the large regional natural park that separates Piedmont Langhe from the valleys of Bormida di Spigno. It is a hilly area with fields, forests and rivers. The hills are alternately covered with trees and shrubs or lined with the famous Unesco World Heritage Site Calanchi (gray clay-like surfaces formed by centuries of erosion). Pian del Nasso even has an entire Calanchi of its own, it is located at the end of our fields among the overgrown hills. Because of the shape of "our" Calanchi, it is called "the saddle" .
