The nature house is located on a mound on the edge of the North Frisian village of Hantum, in a quiet street in the oldest part of the village with 400 inhabitants you will find our two modern accommodations. The warm and cozy living room has a wood stove for long cozy evenings. On the ground floor is the luxurious bathroom with shower, toilet, hairdryer and towels. The apartments also have a kitchenette including a refrigerator stove and Nespresso machine. On the mezzanine you will find the bedroom with a king-size box spring. Upon arrival, this is already made up for you, so you can immediately enjoy your stay. Both apartments have their own entrance, but share the common garden. Here you will find a large wooden terrace, with seating and dining facilities. From this terrace you have a beautiful view of the vast farmlands. The optional hot tub in the evening is based on availability and must be paid for on the spot.
Nature and surroundings
Our apartments are ideally located for trips to one of the islands. For example, you can easily take the boat to Ameland in Holwerd. Walk or cycle through the countryside. But also Schiermonnikoog is easily accessible by taking the boat from Lauwersoog. Take you bike or rent one to explore the beautiful flora and fauna of this island. Hantum is located in northeastern Friesland, which has a network of over 50 historic hiking trails. The beautiful landscapes have a rich cultural history. For example, there is the famous Elfsteden route of over 200 km, or the Bonifatius Kloosterpad. Would you rather get on your bike? With the cycling network junction system you can cycle the most beautiful routes in no time. One even runs through Hantum. The Wadden Sea explore the unprecedented vast landscape with its silence and the flowing water of pristine nature. Ideal for mudflat hiking or nature photography.
