The renovated nature house is a little paradise that offers "off grid" stays for groups, from 2 to 6 . In the park with woods, ponds and lawns, lies the sleeping house, with separate garden room and forest kitchen. Again, no luxury, but a regular toilet and also solar showers, compost toilets. No 220, but 12 volts and good 4g. Bring your own laundry like towels and sheets, blankets are plenty. For wood and coal you pay extra. The forest kitchen and garden room are also cozy places to sit when the weather is not so nice. You also have access to the entire estate. Be quiet after 9:30, and eat veggie please. The park with mega views, has several fire pits and seating areas, so everyone can find their own place. Our estate is also suitable for others to give recreational and spiritual workshops on a small scale, with groups of like minded people. Text me for more info.
Nature and surroundings
Nature in and around the nature house is overwhelming. The clear Ourthe is never far away. In the meadows, forests, rivers and the wide sky live deer and boars, badgers and raccoons, beavers, foxes, ravens, kingfishers, squirrels and very occasionally the eagle owl, cranes and the wolf. The area is famous for its beauty and people come here to hike, mountain bike, canoe, climb and swim. There are reservoirs and beaches and also animal parks and caves. In La Roche, with its impressive medieval castle, and in Houffalize and Bastogne it is touristy and cozy, with terraces, restaurants, vvv s, stores, museums and markets. Be careful with small children because of the ponds and fireplaces. Also because of the surroundings, our little paradise is very suitable for families, spiritual clubs, and people who want to experience "off grid", in all the peace, space and beauty of Mother Nature.
